A raisin is considered biotic because it is derived from a living organism, specifically a grapevine. The grapevine is a plant that is a living organism, so any product that comes from it, such as a raisin, would also be considered biotic. Biotic refers to living organisms or products derived from living organisms, while abiotic refers to non-living things like rocks or water.
For something to be biotic means something is alive. There are three categories. Biotic is the plants, animals, and anything that is currently alive. Abiotic is something that is not alive, like rocks. And dead things are biotic things no longer living.
a biotic factor is something living
biotic is where something is nonliving and abiotic is something that is living or was living
it is still concedered biotic
Biotic is something from a living thing. Such as mucus! And faeces!
The word "product" comes from the Latin word "productus," which means "something produced."
bi is something that is living
Bread is an abiotic factor. Biotic means something that is living. Abiotic means something that is not living, like bread.
Wool is biotic. It is the hair of a sheep (or sometimes other animal).
An egg is considered a biotic component because it comes from a living organism (a chicken) and is therefore alive or derived from a living organism.
