A thing like this isn't proven but has been studied, in theory pollution is a leading factor of ozone depletion, which then in turn can create natural disasters and from then on what I conclude is that the earth can be in a deadly downhill spiral that is if our ozone layer has completely depleted, which wouldn't destroy the world but could be close to it.

You can end pollution by

1. Turning off lights.

2. By recycling

3. Having a team pick up garbage

4. Also being active instead of sitting on our lazy asses watching TV

There is no way to know for sure, but if pollution stops global warming most likely will too, as one of the main causes of global warming IS pollution
