Some achievements of feminism during the 19th century were educational opportunities, freedom from the household drudgery, and awareness that women were people too, and had a voice that matters. Women began to develop a feminist consciousness that viewed women as individuals with rights equal to those of men. On the other hand there was some limitations such a lot of the men at the time disagreed strongly about feminism, also feminist were sometimes viewed as selfish.
