This program of Samaritan's Purse provides an opportunity for people of all ages to be involved in a simple, hands-on missions project while focusing on the true meaning of Christmas-Jesus Christ.

Many opponents of the program note that the organization uses the non-sectarian boxes of gifts to proselytize by inserting religious tracts into the boxes. Other complaints indicate that recipients must participate in an indoctrination program before receiving the "gift" boxes
Every year Operation Christmas Child chooses a third world country and, gives the boxes to them. So to answer your question no children in the US do not get Christmas boxes.
