Haym Salomon
Nathan Hale, Abigail Adams, Haym Salomon were all Patriot spies in the American Revolution

He was responding to ambient Anti-Semitism in Post-Revolution America which held that Jews should not have rights in the new country because they did not help to create it. As a result, Haym Salomon defended his own contributions and those of other Jews to the American Revolution in order to justify their rights as free citizens. (Jews were not free citizens in most European countries.)
Haym was rich but gave out many loans during the revolutionary war so when he died at age 45 he left his family in debt of about $600,000

Oh, dude, Haym Solomons was all about that revolutionary spirit. One of his famous quotes was, "I have never known a man who was good at making excuses who was good at anything else." Another gem from him was, "Money is in some respects life's fire: it is a very excellent servant, but a terrible master." Like, he was dropping truth bombs left and right back in the day.
