non active euthanasia is the same as assisted suiside :)active euthanasia is just plain old suiside :)
They are the same
Laws against euthanasia and assisted suicide are in place to prevent abuse and to protect people from unscrupulous doctors and others. They are not, and never have been, intended to make anyone suffer
With assisted suicide you have the docotors help, often times a shot. Euthanasia is the same thing, but it is used for older people wh may have breathign problems and ask to be killed. Euthanasia is a nice way of saying assisted suicied.
haha same homework !
No. In 2006 Holland lealized euthanasia for babies born with incurable diseases that involve "unbearable suffering". Assisted suicide (not the same as euthanasia) is legal in Switzerland and is offered by the human rights organization Dignitas to screened clients who may travel to Switzerland from abroad for the service.
Palliative Hospice care is a somewhat redundant way to describe Hospice care. Let's break it down. Palliative care: Care focused primarily on pain and symptom management. It's often prescribed for those with chronic pain or with conditions that cause chronic symptoms that are difficult to manage. It can be performed concurrently with other treatments such as chemotherapy and series of surgeries. Hospice care: Care focused primarily on pain and symptom management. Here is where the difference lies: Hospice is prescribed for those with terminal diagnosis and those who are no longer eligible for or interested in invasive and curative treatments. Therefore, Hospice care is ALWAYS Palliative care, but Palliative care is NOT ALWAYS Hospice care. I hope this answers your question! For more info, see my site!
Yes mercy killing is another way of saying euthanasia.
Animals do not have the same legal rights as humans.
Yes.
Yes I do but I think it is totally wrong because it's like saying to god " I don't care about the life you gave me".
The orthodox view on euthanasia is the same as any other major christian denomination view - they are against it...
