Yes, in USA, often scenes are cut from films to conform to ratings, which some consider censorship. In other countries, censorship may be legal: it is not legal in USA.
Then, (often in USA) when the director's cut becomes available, the scenes are re-placed and or are available as extras on the DVD.
Yes due to heavy violence and inappropriate scenes! You must be 15 to watch this
The film "Kettavan" directed by Silambarasan was never officially released due to various production and financial issues. It was never banned by any authority or censorship board, but simply did not complete production to be released in theaters.
The movie twilight will be either 12 or 15 in the U.K. Due to the story it will probably be a 15. There are not many taboo scenes in the film.
Emma Thompson stated that she wouldn't have time to film the scenes due to work on Nanny McPhee, which meant her character would be cut. However, Thompson did have time to film some scenes so provided they aren't cut Emma Thompson will return.

Yes, you can be fired for missing work due to chronic back pain.
The first film "Cirque du Freak: a Vampire's Assistant" was released last year and is currently available on DVD. It is unlikely that another will be realeased due to the fact that the first film was not particularly popular and due to missing out many key plot points in the first film, anything on the following books would make little or no sense.
The missing chapter in printed copies of "Noli Me Tangere" by Jose Rizal is likely due to censorship during its publication. Chapter 7, known as "Los Agricultores," was removed by authorities in the Philippines in the late 19th century. There are TWO acts in the play (reading it) but not sure how many scenes ! Ilove you Nixon :) :*
Lemmings are small rodents usually found in the Arctic tundra. Contrary to popular belief they do not hurl themselves off cliffs as popularized by Disney in the film "White Wilderness". This has however has led to the popular phrases such as "Like lemmings to the sea" etc. to describe mass suicides and death due to over population. There is no basis in nature to this as the scenes in the film were contrived by the producer/film maker. See link
According to a Luke Youngblood interview done in May 2011, he did film scenes for Deathly Hallows, but was waiting to see if they would be cut from the film due to time constraints. The Harry Potter wiki page for the film currently has Lee Jordan listed under characters that were omitted, so unfortunately it seems as though he may not be featured after all.
