Before accepting who I was as a gay man and allowing myself to be who I really am, I truly fell in love with a girl I was dating. Emotionally I would have done anything for her. I was on the verge of asking her to marry me, I had picked out the ring and was about to propose when I found out she was pregnant by another guy.
Even though she was pregnant with another mans baby, I was still so much in love with her that I was willing to claim the baby as my own and still marry her. She didn't want that, we broke up. Though I was emotionally in love with her, it turns out that it was the best thing that I did not marry her. Physically I was and always had been attracted to men even if I was in "love" with her.
So yes, it is possible to be emotionally attracted to a woman, while having physical and sexual attractions to men.
