No, they are not impotent. That would make it difficult for them to have sex together. They are not sterile for the most part either. Gay men have nothing wrong with their genitals. They simply feel attracted to other men.

if you mean could a gay person be impotent, yes they could be, the same as a heterosexual person. their impotency has nothing to do with their sexuality.

No. First of all, nobody becomes gay. It's something that is fixed early in life, possibly at birth. Second, gay men are not impotent (unless they have an unrelated medical problem).
