The Totin' Chip Patch is considered a "Temporary Patch" and, if worn, should be worn centered on the RIGHT Pocket of the Boy Scout Uniform Shirt. It should NOT be sewn on a pocket flap
the centennial quality unit patch goes on the bottom of the right sleve.
Put a boy in a girl scout unifrom
Yes they can.
If it is the 2 inch round patrol emblem (i.e. if they are the buffalo patrol) then it goes on the shoulder just below and touching the American Flag. I am not familiar with any other "Buffalo patch" that belongs on the scout uniform unless it is a"temporary patch" from a camp or othe revent that is hung or sewn to the right chest pocket.
A part that will always be on your uniform is your troop/unit number on your right sleeve.
Maybe, but not as part of the Boy Scout uniform.
Yes a boy could wear a Girl Scout uniform. In fact, in some countries Boy Scouts and Girl Guides/Girl Scouts are members of the same organizations and wear the same uniform. In the USA, a boy wold be able to fit into a Girl Scout uniform. However, he still would not be a member of Girl Scouts of the USA. For ages under 18, only females can be members of GSUSA.
The Arrow Of Light is the only Cub Scout award that can be worn on the Boy Scout uniform. Religious knots that are earned as Cub Scouts can also be worn on the Boy Scout uniform but they are actually awarded through the churches in cooperation with the scouts and so not really official scout badges.
Yes - the Arrow of Light is the only Cub Scout patch that can be worn on the Boy Scout uniform. It should be centered directly under the left pocket, below the Scout's current badge of rank. ( see the inside cover of the Boy Scout Handbook for diagram )
If in a scout uniform, the boy scout should do the scout salute. If in any other clothes, that scout should stand, and place their right hand over their heart, and remove any head wear.
Tiger Cubs (1st grade), Wolf Cubs (2nd grade) and Bear Cubs (3rd grade) wear a blue uniform. Webelos Scouts (Grades 4 and 5, but still part of Cubs) can wear either the Cub Scout Blue or the Boy Scout Green and khaki Boy Scout (Grades 6 and up) wear Green and khaki uniforms. All male Adults (Both Cubs and Adults) wear Green and khaki Adult Female leaders in the Cub program may wear either the Boy Scout Green and khaki or a yellow (top) and Blue (pants) uniform. The Blue/yellow uniform is rarely used.
