lids has mostly casual fedoras. There's a Toronto based hat store called Big It Up, www.bigitup.com- they have alot of fedoras (current and classic). I've purchased many hats from them online and take advantage of their flat shipping rate- I usually buy 2 or 3 hats at a time and only pay the one shipping rate. I actually called them to see if I could get free shipping because I was buying 3 fedoras, but no go. But the lady was very helpful and offered me a 10% online coupon. It truly is hard to find a good fedora in Canada, occasionally I see some biltmore fedoras around but find they get a little pricey.
If by 'fedora' you mean the hat, you use it as you would use 'hat' in a sentence. e.g. - I am wearing a fedora - I want to buy a fedora - Your fedora is so cute! Hope it helped :)

It is a hat.
The fedora was invented around 1889. The word fedora comes from a play by Victorien Sardou, Fédora. Sarah Bernhardt was in the play, playing Princess Fédora. She wore a hat very similar to the modern fedora; it inspired the real fedora that is a part of today's fashion. It is not known exactly who designed the fedora hat, only that it was based on the hat worn in this play.
