Yes,you are wasting so much electricity,buy a new one with the energy star logo and watch your electric bill go down,then after you witness your bill go down and if you can afford it replace anything else over 5 years old,stove,washer,etc...one by one all with the energy star logo,not at the same time a month or so apart so you for yourself can witness your lower electric bill! Some electric companies offer discounts and coupons for new appliances so check with them first before you run out to the store.Also,If you would like to save money buy the new light bulbs and toss the old ones,that saved me tons!!! (P.S. I wish you were my landlord,my fridge is like 20 years old,my fudgesicles are bendable from the freezer,ice cream is mashable,while my milk and lettuce freezes in my fridge! I have to have a dorm size one running too using more elec. just to keep those things from spoiling!)
