Many philosophers and thinkers have rejected the cosmological argument, including David Hume, Bertrand Russell, and J.L. Mackie. They have raised objections related to the assumptions of causality, the principle of sufficient reason, and the existence of an uncaused cause.

The general idea of "cause", often referred to as "first cause", is that stuff doesn't come from nothing, so someone, (you know who), had to create, (cause), the universe. But it's a circular argument because then you have to ask, who created God?

The usual answer is, "God was always here." That's the end of the discussion because it seems that some people can imagine a supernatural being always existing, but not the universe, and/or whatever did, or didn't, come before that.

If you aren't prepared to accept the supernatural on faith alone, these old arguments, gussied up with some fancy science and philosophy jargon, simply don't hold water.

Some of the philosophical concerns of Aristotle included metaphysics (the study of reality), epistemology (the study of knowledge), ethics (the study of morality), and politics (the study of governing society). Aristotle also explored topics such as logic, aesthetics, and the nature of the human soul.

The kalam cosmological argument is considered by many philosophers and theologians to be both valid and sound. The argument uses logic to try to demonstrate that the universe had a cause and that this cause must be a transcendent, uncaused, and timeless being, which many identify as God. However, there is ongoing debate and criticism within the philosophical community about its premises and implications.

You can call it whatever you like. If other people agree with your thinking, they may adopt your name - or they may not. The leading cosmological theory about the creation of the universe is based on ideas proposed by Lemaitre in 1927, but the name, "Big Bang" was adopted after it was suggested by Hoyle in 1947.

A:The cosmological argument for the existence of God states that every finite and contingent thing has a cause, but that causes can not go back in an infinite chain, so there must be a First Cause, an uncreated creator. This argument is no longer very often used formally because of its many limitations and problems, although there remains an underlying assumption among Christians as to its truth. Other religions, even to a certain extent Judaism, do not dwell on the necessity of a divine creator to the extent that Christianity does, so it is true to say that Christians need an uncaused first cause. The cosmological argument can even be restated so as to prove that God need not exist:

1.Whatever begins to exist has a cause.

2.The Universe began to exist.

3.Therefore, the Universe had a cause.

Another Answer:

Not just Christians as it is known as the universal, immutable Law of Cause and Effect. Taken to its logical 'beginning' there must be a first cause. Even science to day is looking for the 'God particle' and some think they may have evidence of it:

The law of cause and effect states that:

Every effect has a specific and predictable cause.

Every cause or action has a specific and predictable effect.

Not quite sure what you mean with "interchangeable", but I think the two ideas are independent of one another.Nowadays, most people will agree that our Universe started with a "Big Bang" - since the scientific evidence is quite strong.

On the other hand, some people believe that the Universe must have also have an "ultimate cause" - i.e., a God, or gods who created it; others don't believe that.

It is the theory that the current universe started with a "big bang". To understand how the theory arose, it has been observed that the universe is expanding. If you imagine time going backwards, then the further back you go, the smaller the universe gets, at some point the universe is so small it is a singularity.

The big bang theory predicted that there would be a background noise from the explosion still detectible in deep space; the noise was detected - in fact, it's a problem in radio astronomy that there is always noise present.

Strengths of the argumentThe strengths of the Cosmological Argument lie in both its simplicity and easily comprehensible concept that there cannot be an infinite number of causes to an event. Some arguments for God's existence require more thought and training in terms and concepts, but this argument is basic and simple. Also, it is perfectly logical to assert that objects do not bring themselves into existence and must, therefore, have causes. Weaknesses of the argumentOne of the weaknesses of the argument is that if all things need a cause to exist, then God Himself must also, by definition, need a cause to exist. But this only pushes causation back and implies that there must be an infinite number of causes, which cannot be.

Also, by definition, God is uncaused.

The concept of God existing eternally without a creator is based on faith and philosophical reasoning rather than empirical evidence. It is attributed to the idea that God is beyond the limitations of time and causality, existing outside the constraints of the physical universe. This belief is often rooted in the principle that an ultimate, uncaused cause must exist to explain the existence of everything else.

It serves as the ultimate explanation for the existence and order of the cosmos, providing a teleological framework for understanding the natural world. The ontological argument is an argument used to prove the existence of God from premises derived using a priorireasoning, that is, using reason and intuition alone.

Some examples of ontological arguments:

Avicenna's argument: The universe consists of a chain of definite beings, which can give existence to other things. Similarly, each thing that exists must also have been given existence, or caused, by another thing. This chain of being continues almost infinitely, however, there must have been some initial cause which was not caused by anything else. Essentially, some sort of "uncaused cause". This, he argued, must be a wholly self-sufficient and perfect being, whose existence does not depend on anything else. He determined this being to be God.

Descartes' argument: As we understand God to be the most perfect being, he must exist. The reason for this is that a being that exists only in the mind is not as great or as perfect as a being that exists both in the mind and in actuality. Thus, perfection necessitates existence.

Here, "god" will be defined as an intelligent, conscious and/or willful prime mover. A prime mover is an event, thing, or cause that does not require a prior cause. The only theoretically known instance of an uncaused cause is a quantum fluctuation, which follows from the Uncertainty Principle. The universe must have an ultimate cause (or set of independent causes), so the prime mover argument for the existence of god states that this cause was god. This does not, however, provide for any additional attributes, which would almost certainly negate the argument in the first place, as intelligence, will, and consciousness are complex and ordered, thus cannot be considered uncaused. These properties are only known to emerge through the process of evolution.

This is the first failure of the argument from design as well. If the universe had to have been designed, then so did its designer, and for the same basic reason. The second reason it fails is that the universe does not appear to have been designed, at least with life in mind. The vast majority of the universe is empty space, and the vast majority of what isn't empty space is dark matter and energy. The vast majority of matter is in neutrinos and interstellar gas (mostly hydrogen). The vast majority of the remaining matter is in stars, black holes, and uninhabitable planets. Only an infinitesimal portion of the universe is friendly to life. If it was designed, it was either not designed for life, or it is a rather poor design.

Evidence, for the vaguest definitions of god, is inapplicable, because it is entirely supernatural and inaccessible to us in any way. Definitions that include some interaction (immaterial souls that control human will, miracles, etc) add the potential for evidence, but none has yet been found that demonstrates that any event cannot have occurred due to entirely natural forces, including consciousness. Granted, consciousness is not yet fully understood, but a lack of understanding is not the same as evidence that it cannot be caused by natural means, in the way that not understanding how a car engine works is not grounds to say that it is a magical device.

Roman Catholic answer: "The Supreme Spirit, who alone exists of himself, and is infinite in all perfections" (Catechism). He is utterly distinct in reality and essence from all other things that exist or can be conceived, all of which, if they exist, get their existence from Him, "the first cause uncaused." God is eternal, without beginning or end or succession; all-knowing, even of man's most secret thoughts; immeasurable, being at once in Heaven, on earth, and in all places that are or can be; just rendering to everyone according to his due, in this world, or hereafter; almighty, for he can do whatever he wishes by the simple act of his will; merciful, for he wants the sinner not to die, but to be converted and live. He is all-good, untouched by the breath of any evil or imperfection, and his beauty is the cause of the being of all that exists.

As a person: the one God is not one person but three, so it were better to speak of God as personal, i.e. as having the perfection "personality." If he had not this perfection we could not attribute to him his actions, we could not say, e.g.that God creates, loves, rewards, punishes, provides. It is a widespread moder error to consider God as some impersonal evolving life-force.

God is so far beyond us that we could know of His Existence through His Works, but not much about Him without Him revealing Himself to us. By as the Catechism says in paragraph 50:
By natural reason man can know God with certainty, on the basis of His works. But there is another order of knowledge, which man cannot possibly arrive at by his own powers: the order of divine Revelation. Through an utterly free decision, God has revealed Himself and given Himself to man. This He does by revealing the mystery, His plan of loving goodness, formed man from all eternity in Christ, for the benefit of all men. God has fully revealed this plan by sending us His beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.

from Modern Catholic Dictionary by John A. Hardon, S.J. Doubleday & Co., Inc. Garden City, NY 1980

The one absolutely and infinitely perfect spirit who is the Creator of all. In the definition of the First Vatican Council, fifteen internal attributes of God are affirmed, besides His roles as Creator of the universe: “The holy, Catholic, apostolic Roman Church believes and professes that there is one true, living God, the Creator and Lord of heaven and earth. He is almighty, eternal, beyond measure, incomprehensible, and infinite in intellect, will and in every perfection. Since He is one unique spiritual substance, entirely simple and unchangeable, He must be declared really and essentially distinct from the world, perfectly happy in Himself and by His very nature, and inexpressibly exalted over all things that exist or can be conceived other than Himself” (Denzinger 3001)

Reflecting on the nature of God, theology has variously identified what may be called His metaphysical essence, i.e., what is God. It is commonly said to be His self-subsistence. God is Being Itself. In God essence and existence coincide. He is the Being who cannot not exist. God alone must be. All other beings exist only because of the Will of God.

There is no real proof of God's existence.

AnswerThe real proof of God's existence is God's Creation and how things originated. Man has tried to do this through the theory of evolution, but this can never explain how matter originated. True Science is about replication, and the Big Bang has never been duplicated for verification. Scientists cannot explain what things were like before the [non-existant] Big Bang. God's existence is also proven by things like the origin of DNA: it didn't just come about, because DNA requires RNA, but RNA requires DNA. Science cannot explain which came first. Answer:

Paul Copan wrote an article in the Christian Research Journal called Does Religion Originate in the Brain? He says "Consider the strong reasons for God's existence distinctfrom human hard-wiring and psychology. The existence of valuable, morally responsible, self-aware, reasoning, living human beings who inhabit a finely tuned universe that came to exist a finite time ago is not plausibly explained naturalistically-namely, as the result of disparate valueless, mindless, lifeless physical processes in a universe that came into existence uncaused out of nothing. The better unifying explanation is a supremely valuable, supremely aware, reasoning, truthful, powerful, intelligent, beautiful Being. Such a context robustly explains-and unifies-a wide range of factors where naturalism fails."

Religions say that their concept of God made the world, from nothing.

Science says that the universe was created out of nothing, in a singularity - or Big Bang - and that the earth was made by the accretion of atoms created both then, and later in stars which exploded many billions of years ago.

Who Created God

AnswerThe limitations on what Christians can or cannot answer is based on the amount of knowledge they have of their faith, and the work of the Holy Spirit within them.

There are many questions that are difficult, but there are none that are impossible, given the right education, and the help of the Holy Spirit.

The above suggestion is a rather shallow question that is easily answered. Christians believe God is eternal. This does not mean that God has always existed and always will, but he exists outside of time but can also interact within time. This means that there was no 'before' Creation and therefore no need of understanding where God was 'before' creation - for there was no 'before'. This is in total agreement with Einstein's Special and General Theory of Relativity which states that at the Big Bang (creation) not only matter and space was created, but time also. There was no 'before' the Big Bang. To ask 'who created God' is meaningless as it implies there was a time before Creation when God existed in our own concept of time. As God is eternal, and exists outside the constraints of time, this idea is logically incorrect.

I suggest that if you are asking this particular question to somehow 'trip up' a Christian, or to get one over on a Christian, you need to do a little growing up. Talk to a Christian about their faith openly and impartially, showing no bigotry or prejudice. That is the way you will actually learn, and not by trying to trick a Christian because you have a pre-conceived prejudiced and biased idea of just what Christianity actually is.

Answer

Actually, the first answer is not shallow at all and is not that unusual as it is relevant to one of the arguments put forth by philosophical naturalism (1) the universe is merely an illusion; (2) the universe sprang from nothing; (3) the universe eternally existed- satisfactorily account for the existence of the universe. Logically, we can turn only to the possibility that "God created the heavens and the earth". If that's the case, however, it immediately brings up the question-who made God? First, unlike the universe, which according to science had a beginning, God is infinite and eternal. Thus, as an infinite eternal being, God logically can be demonstrated to be the uncaused First cause. Furthermore, to suppose that because the universe had a cause, the cause of the universe must have had a cause simply leads to a logical dead end. An infinite regression of finite causes does not answer the question of source; it merely makes the effects more numerous. Finally, simple logic dictates that the universe is merely not an illusion; it did not spring out of nothing (nothing comes from nothing) and it has not eternally existed. Thus, the only philosophically plausible possibility that remains is that the universe was made by an unmade Cause greater that itself.

There are lesser known forms of creationism that are still in existence as well including geocentrism (the belief that the world is the center of the universe and everything revolves around it). Geocentrism is still believed by 18% of Americans.

The least known form of creationism (believed by only 1% of Americans) is flat-earth creationism, the belief that the Earth is flat and there is a world-wide conspiracy to cover up that fact.

Answer:

In its simplest form, you could argue that the debate is all about cause and effect (an effect must have a cause).

This is common sense and no one has ever observed an exception. That every effect must have a cause is a self evident truth, not only for those who have been trained in logic, but for thinking people everywhere. No effect is ever quantitatively greater nor qualitatively superior to its cause. An effect can be lower than its cause but never greater. In stark contrast, the theory of evolution attempts to make effects such as organized complexity, life, and personality greater than their causes; disorder, non life, and impersonal forces. Creationist believe God can be demonstrated logically to be the uncaused first cause.

About ten billion years ago, the Universe began in a gigantic explosion - Big Bang!.The Universe went from very small, very dense, and very hot to the cool expanse that we see today.Interestingly, there really wasn't any sort of explosion (or bang) as the name suggests, but rather the rapid expansion of space and time. It is like blowing up a balloon, as you blow air in, the exterior of the balloon expands outward. Why this happend and what came before is unknown,Although it is a heavily debated subject, with many differant viewpoints.

General Atheistic view)It is ignorant and superstitious to believe that God made everything(the universe) out of nothing.

It is rational and scientific to believe that nothing made everything out of nothing.

It is ignorant to believe that God is eternal.

It is rational and scientific to believe that matter is eternal.

If God made everything, then who made God?

Matter made everything and nothing made matter.

Another problem in modern Cosmology is the Universe's apparent fine-tuning.Physicist Lawrence Krauss wrote that this is "the most extreme fine-tuning problem known in physics.Astronomers Idit Zehavi and Avishai Dekel write that, "This type of universe...requires a degree of fine tuning in the initial conditions that is in apparent conflict with 'common wisdom.Physicist N. Straumann writes "we are confronted with a disturbing cosmic coincidence problem.

A commen argument against the idea of God as creator of the universe is that if their were a supernatural force at work it would be more variable and a very differant universe from the one we observe.

Though Writer G.K.Chesterton had this to say on the repetition of nature."The modern world as I found it was solid for modern Calvinism, for the necessity of things being as they are. But when I came to ask them I found they had really no proof of this unavoidable repetition in things except the fact that the things were repeated. Now, the mere repetition made the things to me rather more weird than more rational. It was as if, having seen a curiously shaped nose in the street and dismissed it as an accident, I had then seen six other noses of the same astonishing shape. I should have fancied for a moment that it must be some local secret society. So one elephant having a trunk was odd; but all elephants having trunks looked like a plot. I speak here only of an emotion, and of an emotion at once stubborn and subtle. But the repetition in Nature seemed sometimes to be an excited repetition, like that of an angry schoolmaster saying the same thing over and over again. The grass seemed signalling to me with all its fingers at once; the crowded stars seemed bent upon being understood. The sun would make me see him if he rose a thousand times. The recurrences of the universe rose to the maddening rhythm of an incantation, and I began to see an idea.

All the towering materialism which dominates the modern mind rests ultimately upon one assumption; a false assumption. It is supposed that if a thing goes on repeating itself it is probably dead; a piece of clockwork. People feel that if the universe was personal it would vary; if the sun were alive it would dance. This is a fallacy even in relation to known fact. For the variation in human affairs is generally brought into them, not by life, but by death; by the dying down or breaking off of their strength or desire. A man varies his movements because of some slight element of failure or fatigue. He gets into an omnibus because he is tired of walking; or he walks because he is tired of sitting still. But if his life and joy were so gigantic that he never tired of going to Islington, he might go to Islington as regularly as the Thames goes to Sheerness. The very speed and ecstasy of his life would have the stillness of death. The sun rises every morning. I do not rise every morning; but the variation is due not to my activity, but to my inaction. Now, to put the matter in a popular phrase, it might be true that the sun rises regularly because he never gets tired of rising. His routine might be due, not to a lifelessness, but to a rush of life. The thing I mean can be seen, for instance, in children, when they find some game or joke that they specially enjoy. A child kicks his legs rhythmically through excess, not absence, of life. Because children have abounding vitality, because they are in spirit fierce and free, therefore they want things repeated and unchanged. They always say, "Do it again"; and the grown-up person does it again until he is nearly dead. For grown-up people are not strong enough to exult in monotony. But perhaps God is strong enough to exult in monotony. It is possible that God says every morning, "Do it again" to the sun; and every evening, "Do it again" to the moon. It may not be automatic necessity that makes all daisies alike; it may be that God makes every daisy separately, but has never got tired of making them. It may be that He has the eternal appetite of infancy; for we have sinned and grown old, and our Father is younger than we. The repetition in Nature may not be a mere recurrence; it may be a theatrical encore. Heaven may encore the bird who laid an egg. If the human being conceives and brings forth a human child instead of bringing forth a fish, or a bat, or a griffin, the reason may not be that we are fixed in an animal fate without life or purpose. It may be that our little tragedy has touched the gods, that they admire it from their starry galleries, and that at the end of every human drama man is called again and again before the curtain. Repetition may go on for millions of years, by mere choice, and at any instant it may stop. Man may stand on the earth generation after generation, and yet each birth be his positively last appearance.

Just like our physical bodies, our spiritual health is also important. We must have the truth and the right knowledge in order to know what is right for our health, physical or spiritual. GOD is our creator so he is the only one with the knowledge for spiritual health. He has sent messengers to mankind with those answers and they are all in the Qur'an. Our spiritual health, just like our physical bodies, have to be fed, exercised and given proper rest as GOD has decreed.

We exercise it by going through the trails of every day life being tested in many ways. GOD is good because he is giving us many opportunities to keep taking the tests. The more times you test the better you get but only if you learn from each mistake and never quit for if once you don't succeed then try again. You have to have the truth which are where all the answers to the test. Qur'an. Thanks to ALLAH.

1. Keep the faith. Never stop believing no matter what happens always keep your faith in GOD who is the most gracious and the most merciful LORD of all that exists. He is the one and only one worthy to be praised without partners. He is the uncaused cause of all causes and all that exists, the creator, sustainer and maintainer of the seen and the unseen. He is the LORD of mankind, king of mankind, GOD of mankind. Keep refuge in him from the mischief of the whisperer of evil who whispers into the hearts of mankind whether among men and/or the unseen spirits. Always keep GOD in the front of your mind and think of him every minute of the day as if you see if for even if you don't see him rest assured, he sees you and everything you do. Please read the Qur'an daily for more knowledge to increase your faith.

2. Prayer and worship. Remain steadfast in prayer and worship your LORD. It really does keep the heart soft and full of peace and love. One of his decrees to us is to worship him. GOD has hardwired in us to pray and worship him. He gave us some free will as he wills to test us in our faith to chose what we will do with this wonderful gifts. It is for our spiritual health and total well being not to mention the hereafter indeed to not fail in this test. Our soul is nourished from the peace GOD gives us everytime we fall down in submissive prayer and worship of him. Oh GOD, please protect us and forgive us when we fall short of your grace. Oh GOD, please help us in doing what we are supposed to do here which is to Love and obey you and love and live together with our brothers and sisters as the children of Adam should.

3. Fellowship with the right people. Fellowship is a powerful thing. So keep in the company of positive folks as much as you can. Negative folks sure saps your spiritual energy but we must stand against that as part of the test. If you have to be in a situation where you have negative folks with all that negative energy then you really need answers 1 & 2 above just to make it today just like M.C. Hammer said. He he he.

Well, i am sure there are many other ways to stay spiritually health. I am not an expert but these three things just popped into my head and i felt like sharing them with you all. Please feel free to agree or disagree as you will. GOD bless. ALLAHu akbar.

as-salaamu 'alaykum WA raHmatuALLAHi WA barakatu (may ALLAH descend upon you his peace, mercy and blessings)

Intelligent Design is really just Creationism wearing a different color uniform. Same principle, same ideas, just renamed to sound "scientific." The vast majority of the arguments that support Intelligent Design are nothing but rhetoric and philosophy.

Answer 2

The answer depends on what proof you want. As for physical proof that there is an intelligent designer, there really is none, though Creationists may beg to differ. But there are theories that support the idea of intelligent design that use reason and logic as means to prove intelligent design. St. Thomas Aquinas gave 5 different arguments of reason in order to support the theory of some sort of intelligent designer. Some of these arguments were derived from Aristotle (such as the Unmoved Mover) and most are used in Christian Apologetics. The first argument is the Cosmological Argument, which is also known as the Unmoved Mover. The following is how the argument goes:

  • Some things are moved.
  • Everything that is moved is moved by a mover.
  • An infinite regress of movers is impossible.

(Let's say A is moved by B and B is moved by C and C is moved by D, and so on and so forth, at some point there needs to be something that is unmoved to start the reaction)

  • Therefore, there is an unmoved mover from whom all motion proceeds.
  • This mover is what we call God.
The second argument is the nearly the same as the Cosmological Argument and is known as the Primum Movens or First Cause Argument. It is also called the Uncaused Cause. The following is how the argument goes:
  • Some things are caused.
  • Everything that is caused is caused by something else.
  • An infinite regress of causation is impossible.
  • Therefore, there must be an uncaused cause of all caused things.
  • This causer is what we call God.
The third argument is called the Contingency Argument. The following is how the argument goes:
  • Many things in the universe may either exist or not exist. Such things are called contingent beings
  • It is impossible for everything in the universe to be contingent, as something can't come of nothing, and if traced back eventually there must have been one thing from which all others have occurred.
  • Therefore, there must be a necessary being whose existence is not contingent on any other being(s).
  • This being is what we call God.
The fourth argument is called the Degrees of Perfection Argument. The following is how the argument goes:
  • Various perfections may be found in varying degrees throughout the universe.
  • These degrees of perfections assume the existence of the perfections themselves.
  • The pinnacle of perfection, from which lesser degrees of perfection derive, is what we call God.
The syllogistic form of this argument proposed by Robert J. Schihl follows:
  • Objects have properties to greater or lesser extents.
  • If an object has a property to a lesser extent, then there exists some other object that has the property to the maximum possible degree.
  • So there is an entity that has all properties to the maximum possible degree.
  • Hence God exists
The fifth argument is the Teleological Argument, or the design argument. This argument is perhaps the most popular among believers of intelligent design. The argument basically states that the world indicates intelligence and design, thus there must be an intelligent designer. The argument goes as follows:
  • All natural bodies in the world act for ends.
  • These objects are in themselves unintelligent.
  • To act for ends is characteristic of intelligence.
  • Therefore, there exists an intelligent being which guides all natural bodies to their ends.
  • This being we call God.

Answer 3

  • The universe has definite design, order, and arrangement which cannot be sufficiently explained outside a theistic worldview. (This is how Abraham, without benefit of teachers, came to reject the chaotic world-view of idolatry and the possibility of atheism). For example, theoretical physicist and popular science writer Paul Davies (whose early writings were not especially sympathetic to theism) states concerning the fundamental structure of the universe, "the impression of design is overwhelming" (Davies, 1988, p. 203).
  • The laws of the universe seem to have been set in such a way that stars, planets and life can exist. Many constants of nature appear to be finely tuned for this, and the odds against this happening by chance are astronomical.
  • "To the unprejudiced, the fossil record of plants is in favor of special creation" (Corner, E.J.H., Contemporary Botanical Thought).
  • "Nine-tenths of the talk of evolutionists is sheer nonsense, not founded on observation and wholly unsupported by facts. This museum is full of proofs of the utter falsity of their views. In all this great museum, there is not a particle of evidence of the transmutation of species" (Dr. Etheridge, Paleontologist of the British Museum).
"To postulate that the development and survival of the fittest is entirely a consequence of chance mutations seems to me a hypothesis based on no evidence and irreconcilable with the facts. It amazes me that this is swallowed so uncritically and readily, and for such a long time, by so many scientists without murmur of protest" (Sir Ernest Chain, Nobel Prize winner).
  • Mutations are harmful, not beneficial. One of the tasks of DNA and of long-term breeding is to avoid or repair any changes brought about by mutations. This means that our genetic apparatus is programmed to resist change.
  • You need DNA to make DNA. No genetic code can be demonstrated to have arisen by chance, together with the ability to read that code and carry out its instructions. Information does not arise spontaneously; and there is an incredible amount of information in even the tiniest cell.
"A living cell is so awesomely complex that its interdependent components stagger the imagination and defy evolutionary explanations" (Michael Denton, author).
"The astounding structural complexity of a cell" (U.S. National Library of Medicine).
Concerning a single structure within a cell: "Without the motor protein, the microtubules don't slide and the cilium simply stands rigid. Without nexin, the tubules will slide against each other until they completely move past each other and the cilium disintegrates. Without the tubulin, there are no microtubules and no motion. The cilium is irreducibly complex. Like a mousetrap, it has all the properties of design and none of the properties of natural selection" (Michael Behe, prof. of biophysics).
  • "The concept of abiogenesis is not science. It's fantasy" (J.L. Wile, Ph.D.).

  • In nature matter can not be made or destroyed but it can be altered. God is beyond nature or a great mystery beyond imagination. Man creates god in his own imagination to suit his own needs in order to find a grand purpose for life. No creature comes close to human behavior if you include wars education cities industry and religion to name a few so one thing is for sure and that is this physical world that we are aware of Man is far removed from any other creature. Lets face it man created God and man wrote the bibles If God could create the universe out of no air then would it be too tough to create a book in his own words. Life is a mystery there are no answers and some need faith so we have religion of all kinds.
  • The concept of god was created by man or I could say a group of men, wise men. I believe that this concept was generated for the good. Just that some really got into it, and some(like me understood it)...its like a movie, many watch a movie, some get involved in it and start believing everything, imagining themselves as a cast and some watch the movie for a mere enjoyment and some like me watch the movie and understand the concept behind it..so its simple for the harmony of world there exist a god, if you can be harmony without that concept its good, but if you need a strong support for you to be, believe in GOD else believe in yourself... May GOD(the concept) bless you.
  • In Genesis the first words are 'In the beginning God . . . ' That's all we need to know. He was the start, the Alpha and the Omega and the end.
  • Nobody created God. God is the Almighty, the Alpha and Omega, and the one who created you.
  • It is easy to make an argument for God's existence from a cosmological standpoint. As the years have gone by, a growing amount of scientific data has accumulated which negates atheistic assumptions about how matter and the cosmos came into existence and how it has arrived at its present condition. As a science teacher and public lecturer on the compatibility of belief in God and science, I have, been impressed with an increasing awareness on the part of many scientists and theologians that science and religion are symbiotic disciplines. One question which inevitably comes up in a discussion of this nature is what is the origin of God? If God created matter/energy, and designed the systems that have propelled matter into its present arrangement, who or what accomplished that for God? Why is it any more reasonable to believe that God has always been than it is to say that matter has always been? As Carl Sagan has said, If we say that God has always been, why not save a step and conclude that the universe has always been? From a purely scientific standpoint, it is easy to demonstrate that matter cannot be eternal in nature. The universe is expanding from what appears to be a beginning point in space/time, which appears to be a one time event. Hydrogen is the basic fuel of the cosmos, powering all stars and other energy sources in space. If the fuel of the universe has been used eternally, that fuel will eventually be depleted, but the evidence is that the cosmological gas gauge, while moving toward empty, is yet a long way from being therea condition incompatible with an eternal universe. The second law of thermodynamics insists that the cosmos is moving toward a condition of disorder, sometimes referred to as heat death. Even in an oscillating universe, things ultimately run out of energy and die. All of these evidences, and several others we have not made reference to, show that matter cannot be eternal, as Dr. Sagan and his associates would like to believe. However, this does not mean that we automatically accept the hypothesis that God is the Creator. Why is it not equally invalid to suggest that God has always been? The problem here is that many people have a mistaken concept of God. If we conceive of God as physical, anthropomorphic (like man) being, the question of Gods origin is valid. However, such a concept of God is alien to the Bible and to common sense. Consider the following descriptions of God from the Bible: John 4: 24 God is a Spirit:... Matthew 16:17 ...for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my father which is in heaven. Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that He should...; Obviously, the descriptions and concepts of God given in these passages are that God is a spiritual entity. He exists outside of the three-dimensional, physical world in which we live. The Bible further supports this concept of God in the following passages: Jeremiah 23:23-24 Am I a God at hand, saith the Lord, and not a God afar off? ...Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord. 2 Chronicles 2:6 But who is able to build a house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain Him?... Acts 17:28 For in Him we live, and move, and have our being;... Not only is God described as being outside space, but He is also described as being outside of time. Consider the following: 2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. Psalm 90:4 For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night. Psalm 102:27 But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end. Acts 1:7 ...It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in His power. If God is a being that is unlimited in time, and if He has access to every piece of time as if it were now, the question of who created God is an invalid question. The problem is like asking a student to draw a four-sided triangle. The terminology is self-contradictory. When asked 'Who or what created God?,' we are making the assumption that God was created. If God exists outside of time and space, and if He is the Creator of time and space, He obviously was not created! God began the beginning! This is why He says, I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. God created time. The statement of Genesis, In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth, is making reference to the creation of time. The reason that things like heat death, the expansion of the universe, and the depletion of hydrogen do not apply to God is because He is outside of time. God has always been. He not only began time; He will also end it. When time ends, all matter and all mankind will enter eternity a timeless condition free of the negative things that time brings upon us now. 2 Peter 3:10-11 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,... Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. The agnostic position that there is nothing that can be said to support God's existence that cannot be said against that existence cannot, in the opinion of the author, stand in the face of this evidence.
  • Only God creates and not be created.
  • Man invented God in his image.
  • Science and religion go hand-in-hand and those of faith are just as interested for answers as are the scientists, but, the person with faith knows there IS a God. A good example of both working together is the Shroud. I don't believe that people of Christian faith have made this up nor do they have delusional ideas or are trying to control anyone. There is a glow, an inner peace that is in the core of some people and it's from this we seek out what we want to believe in. Scientists to this day are not able to explain the balance of life, the beauty of the earth and the order of things. If one does their research they will find that there is much financial support from some Christians for Scientific studies. Scientists need an answer and Christians go on faith.
  • Because ancient men cannot explain what was a phenomena to them then, they invented a god [in his own image]. But now we know what causes earthquakes, typhoons (hurricanes) volcanic eruption, lightning and thunder, tsunamis, famine/drought, so the domain of god is getting small, and smaller, smallest and pretty soon, there won't be anywhere for the concept of god to hide.
  • After a lot of research into the various religious beliefs of the highly commercialized regions of the world, I have come to the rational conclusion that God was created in the image and likeness of the rulers of that particular geographic location. These rulers, through their advisers, created religions that targeted the fears of the people at the particular time. These advisers were similar to the marketing consultants and advertising specialists of today. The wealthy people found creative ways of keep the working-class people (slaves) obedient to their whim and fancy. The working class people were threatened with eternal damnation for disobedience to the divine laws and instructions of an invisible authority called God. This God has created you in his image and likeness to obey and serve him with blind faith. This God choose special servants to be his messengers to his humble and obedient subjects. This God also commands that his loyal slaves must kill all those who do not obey his commandments.
  • No-one. The concept is difficult for us to comprehend, living as we do in the realm of time and space. God exists outside of these and so is not limited by them as we are so used to thinking. If we can acknowledge that it could be possible for there to be something outside of time and space, then it is possible to catch a glimmer of the concept. Here's what the Bible has to say about it. Psalm 90v. 2- Before the mountains were brought forth you have formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, you are God.v.4- For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past
  • expresses the meaninglessness of time in God's eyes as does 2 Peter v8.

Colossians 1 v17 And he is before all things and in him all things consist.

  • As Richard Dawkins (The God Delusion (2006)) has pointed out, the biblical story of the creation of man gave the ancients an explanation of where they came from, but created an even bigger problem. Any god capable of creating the world and man must be more complex than his creation. If evolution was too complex an idea for the ancients to conceive, then they could not even begin to understand where the creator God came from.
  • We can now understand that if there has to be something in the beginning, it is vastly less complex if that something is the universe, not God. So, neither man nor God was created: man evolved.
  • Maybe it was just a miracle that god was created.
  • God cant make himself because then he would create himself out of nothing and that's impossible because he would have to be something to create himself and you start out with nothing. Voltaire said " If God didn't exist man would have to create him."
  • Those who believe in God believe he is everlasting and has always existed - something that's eternal cannot be created. That is hard for our minds to accept, because our mind can only comprehend things with an end.
  • The different peoples of the world created their God in their personal image and likeness. They created a God that authenticated their various rites and rituals. Religion was developed mainly around social cultures and traditions. It was mainly a way to influence social behaviors through the use of moral suasion. They created a God that would bring psychological comfort in times of hardship. They created a God that would protect them from natural disasters, disease and extinction.
  • If you ask what created God you will ask what created God's creator. and so on and so on. The answer you will get is God has always been and was never created. God exists everywhere and does not have a body - he is a spirit.
  • Imagination and scripture.
  • God is not just the imagination. if there was no such thing as God or a creator then Where did DNA information come? Where did matter come from? Why is our planet so perfect for life? To answer your question, God was not created. He is before time, space, and matter, and therefore does not need to have been "created". This might seem confusing, but if you think about it, it does. I also suggest you watch "Case for a Creator"
  • Per Islam teachings, No one created God. God is the Creator of everything in the universe. Allah (or God in English and same God worshiped in Christianity and Judaism) is the one and only one God with no partner, no son, no father, no companion, no associate, and no equivalence. Qur'an says: { Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One, (1) Allah, the Eternal Refuge. (2) He neither begets nor is born, (3) Nor is there to Him any equivalent." (4)} (112:1-4). Per Islam teachings, no Trinity in Islam. Qur'an says:

{They have certainly disbelieved who say, "Allah is the third of three." And there is no god except one God. And if they do not desist from what they are saying, there will surely afflict the disbelievers among them a painful punishment.} (5:73). Accordingly, there is nothing in Islam called God's father.

  • You simply cannot make something out of nothing unless your spreading make believe stories in an effort to control the masses. Wise men created these stories because they wanted to be rulers of the people and keeping fear in their minds was needed when there army wasn't big enough to do the job. God was created by man to control man and weak minded persons can't give it up.

Answer 1 The existence and nature of God is in the realm of Faith. The answer, therefore, depends upon the personal beliefs of the individual answering the question, and also whether that individual accepts some or all tenets of an established religion. Various teachings and beliefs are represented in the following answers:
  • The Bible doesn't say anything about God's origins, or even if He had any origin. It simply says that God was already there when time, the universe, and everything else began ... in fact, He created it all.
  • Members of the Church of Latter Day Saints believe that there are 3 deities: the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. They don't believe in some hyper-planet. They believe that the God is the Beginning and the Creator.
  • God has no beginning and end. He is all eternal. He is uncaused. He caused all things to exist. (Bible, Psalms 90:3)
  • In my opinion and from my study of the major religions of the world, I believe that God came from the imagination of inquisitive minds that were searching for answers to the challenging questions of their subjects.
  • The Bible says, God will come from the north-east and God will be present in Paradise.
  • God/Gods/Goddesses/Deities, etc, were invented by men in an attempt to explain natural phenomena (e.g. Thunder, Lightning, Volcanic eruptions, Tsunamis, Droughts, Hurricanes, Upheavals, Comets, Eclipses, Origin of man, Origin of Earth, Origin of the Universe) They ascribed these to acts of gods, such as Odin, Zeus, Thor, Neptune, Mars, and others in the pantheon.

However, in the present, many phenomena are understood. More and more people are now dis-associating themselves from the concept of gods. Religion and its concept of God is now declining and will continue to decline thanks to information available in the world-wide-web. People now (and in coming generations) will no longer be bound by ignorance and superstition.

  • God has no origin. He was around when time began, and He will be around after time ends. In one sense, we can't wrap our minds around that. Everything, we think, must have a beginning and an end...but there always has to be something before the beginning and after the end. It's hard to imagine something without boundaries, yet there's always something beyond the boundary.
  • Jews, Christians and Muslims believe that God has always existed. They believe that he created the world. Some religions do not accept the same concept of God. Others believe that there is no God, and that he must have been created in our minds.
  • God came from a magical book, which was written by God, who came from a magical book, which was written by God, who came from a magical book...
  • Nothing created God. He has just always been!
  • "Where does God come FROM" implies that God is constrained by time. If I asked my wife where she came from, she would have to think back in time and say "Swansea, Wales" or, "from my mother's womb" or further back again and say "from a sperm and an egg..." . All these use the concept of time. In the Bible, we are told that God is eternal. This does not mean "always has been here and always will be" - it means "existence outside of time" or "beyond the constraints of time". God can and does interact with us within time, but as an eternal God time for him is irrelevant.

This is not so far-fetched as it seems as light itself is also eternal. Einstein showed in his Special and General Theories of Relativity that time slows down and eventually stops when something travels at the speed of light. Hence a light ray is eternal as time has stopped for that ray - but light can still interact with us, through our eyes, cameras, photosynthesis and so on.

So to ask what was 'before' God is meaningless. there was no 'before' as God exists outside the constraints of time - he is eternal.

  • The laws of science and the laws of causality demand that everything within the material universe has a first cause and that events are dictated by cause and effect. However, these laws are only valid within a 'time framework' ie, within the actual passage of time. Rather being a weakness in Christian belief, the evidence of scripture, reason and tradition that God is eternal means that, outside the constraints of time the laws of causality have absolutely no effect and are irrelevant, and so the great strength, therefore, that scripture displays, is of the accurate prediction of the nature of the universe's beginnings (eg that time itself was created at the Big bang) that were only verified scientifically last century.
  • At Creation, or the 'Big bang' (whatever you wish to call it) Einstein, Hawking and others, through evidential research, showed that as well as matter and space being created at this Big bang, Time itself was also created. This is now of universal acceptance in cosmological studies. There was no 'before' the moment of Creation, as time itself had not been created. This is borne out both by the Special and General Theories of Relativity and by Genesis 1: In the beginning God created..... (i.e. in the Hebrew "at the beginning of time"). Scripture, reason and tradition also dictates that God is eternal. This does NOT mean that he goes on for ever, but actually means, again by analysing the nuances in the original Hebrew and Greek, that he exists outside the constraints of time. So, for God, time is an irrelevancy. Much in the same way as a ray of light, travelling at the speed of light, has no concept of time as Einsteinian relativity shows that at speed time slows until it stops at the speed of light, God also has no concept of time passing as we do. Also, much in the same way that light can still interact with us IN time (it can affect our eyes, allow photosynthesis etc) so God can also interact with us through prayer and miracle and the Holy Spirit. This does not mean that God himself was created at the Big Bang, because, again, that would imply God has a 'beginning' as far as time is concerned, which he hasn't. Nor does it suggest that God has 'always been there' as this too suggests the passing of time and is therefore the incorrect way of talking of God. If God is eternal, then any description of the eternality of God that relies on any passage of time cannot be the correct way of thinking about his eternal nature. So, to say 'where did God come from' is meaningless as it implies there was a time 'before' God which there wasn't. Put simply, God is eternal, and anything that imposes a constraint of time upon him is an irrelevancy.
  • God didn't come from anywhere. He always was, always is, and always will be. He was there in the beginning. "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth" (Genesis 1:1). Think about that. He was already there. It is a thought far beyond human comprehension. God transcends time. There is no time in eternity. God is timeless. It is one of the greatest mysteries of our faith.
  • 'God' or 'Gods' come from the minds of the people who create them. Gods are imaginary. Gods come from old myths and legends.
  • God created us; Evolution has been scientifically proven and so has the bible therefore God made us along with science. Read Gensis (first part) ...Also God has more then 99 names ...depending on where you are in which country. He gave us the ability to improve our minds with science, but science has never been able to disprove God...BUT total belief in science HAS been disproven by the Bible. Check national Geo magazines, Time also.
  • Those who believe that God made man, believe that God is uncreated - he always was. Others believe that man made God - he was created to fill a need in society.
  • 1. This is known as an infinite regression. The creators never end. "Who made the god who made the world? Who made the god that made the god who made the world? Who made the god that made the god who made the world?" ad nauseum. 2. Humans from all cultures have a creation story, making up god(s) to worship and explain their existence. They would be the true creators of god(s).
  • My answer- As a Christian I understand this question because i use to wonder the same thing. The simple fact is that he was never made he just always 'was'. As humans we cannot understand this as it is beyond our comprehension as we must think that everything has a beginning, but because God made time he cannot possibly have a beginning otherwise he would be effected by time itself. We now that the does not have a beginning because God is a never changing God, he was what he was when he created us and he will always be the same.
  • According to the Bible, God had no beginning (Psalms 90:2; Revelation 15:3). He is the 'king of eternity'....'everlasting to everlasting'. He always was and will always be. So, NO ONE made God.
  • This is a frequently asked question, and it may be addressed in two basic ways. The most direct answer is the one supplied by the Scriptures themselves. And that will settle the issue for those who have confidence in the credibility of the sacred Book. Secondly, however, one may pursue the inquiry by means of the process of logical reasoning. some people believe that god was created by itself, but most people believe that god isn't real because nobody knows who created him x
Answer 2 (Another Viewpoint) The concept of a superior being (god) is a human one. Humankind is not comfortable with the idea there may be no all powerful, all knowing, guiding power to the universe we live in.

Most human beings will acknowledge the existence of some Power, be it naturally occurring or divine in nature, which drives the world. And most of us, whether we admit it or not would like to think that Power was kindly disposed to us.

It is however incredibly arrogant of us to think that that power looks or acts like us. Humankind is not truly capable of comprehending the kind of being/power that could in fact control the universe and that idea frightens us to our very core. In order to allow ourselves to believe in that being/power, we have had to make it in our own image. Small, ineffectual and petty as we are our God has mirrored our best and worst aspects.

In our need to have someone to petition for the betterment of our circumstances (prayer to God) or blame for our weaknesses (the Devil made me do it) we have come to believe in these powers.

There really is no way for any of us to know with complete certainty that God (upper case or lower case; singular or plural; male, female or unknown) A) exists, B) controls the universe in all its complexities, C) cares or is even aware of we humans. That is what faith is for.

Albert Einstein: "I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly.""The idea of a personal God is quite alien to me and seems even naive."

" A man's ethical behavior should be based effectually on sympathy, education, and social ties and needs; no religious basis is necessary. Man would indeed be in a poor way if he had to be restrained by fear of punishment and hope of reward after death."

Thomas Jefferson: "To say that the human soul, angels, God, are immaterial, is to say they are nothings, or that there is no God, no angels, no soul."

Modern scientists: In the United States, a survey indicated 7 percent of eminent scientists believe in God, while 40 percent of less eminent scientists believe in God. In Britain, a survey indicated that just under 5 percent of eminent scientists believe in God.

Buddha: It is neither God nor the self nor some causeless chance which creates us. It is our our deeds which produce both good and bad results according to the law of causation.

We should therefore abandon the heresy of worshipping God and of praying to him. We should stop all speculation and vain talk about such matters and practice good so that good may result from our good deeds.CS Lewis:

"God cannot give us a happiness and peace apart from Himself, because it is not there. There is no such thing."

"Everything except God has some natural superior; everything except unformed matter has some natural inferior."

"[God] is not proud...He will have us even though we have shown that we prefer everything else to Him."

"A young man who wishes to remain a sound Atheist cannot be too careful of his reading. There are traps everywhere--'Bibles laid open, millions of surprises,' as Herbert says, 'fine nets and stratagems.' God is, if I may say it, very unscrupulous."

"We may ignore, but we can nowhere evade, the presence of God."

Answer 3 (Islamic view)Allah (or God in English and same God in Judaism and Christianity) is superior than the bounds and limits of distance, time, or any dimension. Allah (or God) is the first before any first and the last after any last. God is eternal. God is the creator of every thing and is the creator time and all dimensions. So, it is not logic to be judged by time or to the output of something else. Every thing in our life you can bring it back to its source and that from it come from until you come to certain point then you say it is created by God. God is the origin and didn't come from anything but every thing comes from him.

God is the Creator and is not created. Quran says; with meaning English translation:

{Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One, (1) Allah, the Eternal Refuge. (2) He neither begets nor is born, (3) Nor is there to Him any equivalent." (4)}

[Quran, chapter 112]

According to the Quran verses above (and also you find the same in the Torah and the Bible), God is just there. He is always there. He is eternally there. God had no creator but He is the Creator.

I'll try to tread carefully to avoid this from exploding into a religious debate. If you're referring to God from the Bible, then that's a good question. Nobody knows! The Bible says our minds are too small to comprehend God in His fullness. But that doesn't mean there is not an answer. Untill then God promises in His Word through one of His followers that 'everything will be revealed' in heaven to those who loved and lived for Jesus.
God did not come from any thing - everything, everywhere, always comes from God and everything is in God and apart from God there is never nothing nowhere. God is who makes our reality real - space, time, matter, energy, elegance, logic, consciousness etc.

John 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Colossians 1:17 And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

Acts 17:27-28 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: for in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
Christians believe God is infinitely simple, and as such does not perceive subjective time. As such, God has always existed and always will be. The Christian interpretation of God is one Person with three distinct personalities i.e.: the Holy Trinity (The Father(in Heaven), The Son(Jesus Christ), and The Holy Spirit/Ghost).
If something comes into being, it must have been prompted by something else. A book has an author. Music has a music artist. A party has a party-thrower! All things that begin, that have a start, have a cause to their beginning.

Consider the universe. Scientists once held to the "steady-state" theory, that the universe has always existed without beginning.

Cosmological evidence now refers to the "Big bang" as the point in time that the universe came into being. Our space-time-matter-energy universe had a distinct and singular beginning.

Since it did not always exist, but came into existence (had a singular beginning), then some other reality must have caused or created it.1

Everything we observe in nature has a beginning. God however is in a different category, and must be so. God is different from all nature and humanity and everything that exists, in that he has always existed, independent from anything he created. God is not a dependent being, but self-sufficient, self-existent. And this is exactly how the Bible describes God, and how God has revealed himself to be. Why must God be this way?

Our universe cannot be explained any other way. It could not have created itself. It has not always existed. And it could not be created by something that itself is created. Why not?

It isn't coherent to argue that the universe was created by God, but God was in turn created by God to the second power, who was in turn created by God to the third power, and so on. As Aristotle cogently argued, there must be a reality that causes but is itself uncaused (or, a being that moves but is itself unmoved). Why? Because if there is an infinite regression of causes, then by definition the whole process could never begin. No one made God, because God never began. He originally existed outside of time, because He created time, and it never existed before He made it. Before God created anything, He came from a place with no beginnings and no time. He is the natural state of things; everything else is fake and an illusion, including us.

Answer

As we were spirit children of our Father in heaven before coming to earth, and as our spirits entered our bodies we became human. From the time of Adam the natural process of procreation has been performed by the intimate relationship of a man and woman.

Let us consider the same procreation being performed in heaven. God also having a spirit mother and father. This procreation in the heavens being done from time immemorial. There is nothing strange in this thought, the procreation of man on earth being preceded in the heavens by heavenly parents.
Since we were not there at the beginning of the world we don't know for sure but when asked (in the bible) about his beginning and who "he" is god states I am who I am. God also know as the great 'I am' just is, he just exists he was never born and will never die he is truly immortal.

God was already here. It is a difficult concept for humans to grasp... the immensity of the concept of immortal, without beginning or end, since we are in a mortal state where everything begins and ends. So, we don't know how, but he was always here and he created us all.

The majority of major religions today believe that God is eternal; outside the realm of time, therefore he just is, with no past or future, just ever present.

Other people believe that there is no God so no one created him.

God is immortal and people say he's a spirit not a human man as you may think you see him so he made out of thin air i guess.

God is 100% real because no one can say how we got here or how the universe was made or why the earth is the only one that can support life some may ask who made God that is one that no one may never be able to answer but I have one why to find out believe in Jesus Christ and when you die then you can ask God himself I have stayed with God even though a lot of my loved ones died but some times God tells you No and sometimes Yes but God will always be there for me and you to if you believe in him always believe in God almighty.

The universe is a concept of space and time. These two dimensions (so strongly associated with each other in relativistic physics that they are combined in the idea of space-time) may not exist outside this universe. The word "beyond" is already related to space-time. We cannot define what is outside, beyond, before, or after our universe because these concepts are only known to apply in the space-time universe itself. Time and space exist because this universe has these two dimensions. Other dimensions and concepts may be scattered across all that we do not know. It does not have to be time after this universe or by that matter before. For example, where does the mass that is pulled into black holes go to? It is clear that it is no longer in our space and time, because all that stellar matter would not fit in a single point. There is no simple answer to this question. Since we do not possess the capabilities to explore a space that is beyond our senses at the moment, we cannot know what is beyond. As it is unobservable, it is only a subject of our speculation. There are mysteries inside that we have not unraveled yet.
