Turtles do not have teeth, but they have a beak. When turtles are hatching they have a, I believe it's called a hatching tooth to hatch out of their eggs, but it breaks off shortly after hatching, so I guess the answer would be no.

If a turtle has food stuck in it's throat then put him in some water, if that doesn't work after 20 minutes then get him to the emergency vet. Even if that vet does not really treat reptiles in an emergency they should help.

Most turtles found in freshwater ponds that are yellow and green are called red eared sliders. In their younger years they have yellow in them but as they age they begin to lose their color. The red eared slider has a red streak behind its eyes as well...It could also be a yellow eared slider as well which doesn't have the red streaks behind the eyes, instead yellow.

Yes they do ! The female usually buries them in soft, moist earth, then leaves them to develop and hatch on their own. Once hatched, the babies instinctively make their way to sea.

This question is actually quite common. The guinea pigs spread the H1N1 virus in an attempt to destroy the turtle yakuza clan and its monopoly over the salmonella spread. They are both highly trained assassins and have been thought of as modern ninjas. The guinea pigs have an incredible resume, including the notable JFK assassination, and are thought to have played a part in the murder of Abe Lincoln. The turtles are are thought to have played an important role in the death of Wilson, the "stroke" a successful attempt at incapacitation of the President. These warring factions have grown incredibly violent. But as to who would win.... We would. Next time you see a guinea pig kick it. Next time you see a turtle slap it in the face. For the Children

Turtles and tortoises live on every continent, excluding Antarctica. They live in all ecosystems except polar and subpolar ones, where it is too cold for them. There are also sea turtles, which live in the oceans except for coming ashore to lay eggs.

Most turtles will eat fiddler crabs. When I got my turtle he ate everything that moved (fish, fiddlers, and a snail) Recently though, he hasn't touched any of the fish and prefers to eat the turtle sticks and freeze-dried shrimp treats. I bought two fiddlers yesterday and they seem to be getting along just fine. If you buy a bunch you can use them as food and a cleaning crew. A nice little snack for the turt and a clean tank!

Wild red eared sliders live about 20 years. Red eared sliders that live in an aquarium (that has a filter and a heater) can live up to 85 years. You always need to have a light for any aquarium turtle to rest in the "sun" or your turtle will not be that happy...

I have one and is eight years so Turt has a long way to go.
