Kates father has his Masters Degree in Education. Hes a Teacher, a Minister, owns a large Campground, was in local govt and they just built a large beautiful house. And they have all their teeth. They love all their grandchildren but Kate has hurt them deeply when the tups were born.

Kates Dads church where he is a Minister got tons of donations and volunteers for the tups and Kate was rude, nasty and demanded ONLY NEW MATCHING items.

Then she demanded CASH. Then she disowned him when he refused to give in.

She rejected unmatched cribs and clothing.

She wanted 6 matching cribs etc

These are the same grandparents that watched the twins the entire time Kate was in the hospital with the tups...

See where this is going?

It caused a rift and Kate disowned them in a huff and cut the tups out of their lives.

And Kates "personality" didnt get along with Jons Korean Mom

It kind of depends where you live I put the texal tups to the ewes in october to November and the ewes start having lambs in march. So if you live in mid wales on a hill or any where else on a hill i recomend this method. Good luck.

Zero. Kate did not do IVF. There were no eggs transferred.

Kate used Clomid and Intrauterine Insemination (they inject semen into her cervix) with both pregnancies. But, when she went to get pregnant with the tups, her ovaries became overstimulated with the Clomid and she had 8 ripe follicles. The Dr refused to inseminate her and hospitalized her. Apparently the Drs orders didnt matter to Kate and she had sex with Jon anyway and she was diagnosed pregnant 5 weeks later.

She also moved far away when she got remarried. Jon's father was really involved in the twins' lives, but unfortunately passed away. Kates "personality" has caused a rift with Jons Korean Mom. she has said that they were always just in her business and they have different ways to raise kids...

Yes she was aware. She stated in her Huffington Post article that her parents had emailed her about seeing the Gosselins before she went to Bald Head and had sent her picutures of the tups. The locals reported no paparazzi were there before the August 12th Huffington Post article where they posted exclusive pictures taken by a bystander. Katy Hall's article appeared August 14th. She was not only aware they were there but the Huffington Post article told paparazzi where the Gosselins were.

Due to various personal reasons Kate Gosselin does not do not talk to their immediate family. (However they may talk to them on the phone). Jon and Kate have said on various shows that due to many different reasons some of their family chooses not to be filmed.

Jon's grandmother did appear on the sextuplets 3rd birthday party. His father is deceased. He died shortly after the tups were born. Kate's brother and one of her brothers-in-law have been on the show. Her brother-in-law appeared on the episode "Babies and Bedrooms 2" to help Jon finish the room. Her brother, Kevin, appeared numerous times to help out Kate and Jon.

Vasectomy, right?

First, how the system works. A man creates literally millions of sperm an hour. These all reside in the testicles. Either they are absorbed back into the body or leave during orgasm. At that point the whole of the liquid containing the sperm is pushed through a set of tubes called the vas deferens and into the prostate. There more liquids are added by the prostate and the whole is sent into the urethra (the same tube a man peas from) and out of the penis.

Now, a vasectomy literally means cutting the vas deferense. By "snipping" those tube the sperm are no longer able to get out during orgasm. The absorption process still continues and the majority of the liquid, which comes from the prostate, will still come out during orgasm. However, no sperm means no pregnancy. Keep in mind that this method is still not 100% effective (sperm can still find their way out even if the main tups are cut) and it has no effect on the spread of disease.

As far as I am aware, it is a poem written around one beginning letter. The subject defines the poem. The lines use alliterations to describe the subject or the subject's actions. One line might be "Mary made many more mints," however, all words in the line do not have to start with the same letter. Most do, though. One or two words can break the pattern.

Kate Gosselin's appearances on numerous talk shows and reality television shows have given the public hundreds of hours of footage to get a general idea of what Kate Gosselin is like.

According to Gosselin she is kind and makes friends easily and committed to her children. In a few appearances, she has attested to having evolved her response and handling of situations - which is cheered by fans, but has yet to have garnered much air time.

You can get to know Gosselin more by reading her blog posts on her personal website, The Stir and Coupon Cabin. See Related Links to view these individual sites.

Other people see things differently, and those views have changed little over the past few years. The examples below were provided by various contributors over the past 4 years.

From the GWOP Blog:Yes, I do know what is happening said...Do I know that the school would prefer that all of the Gosselin children now leave? Yes. Why?

Remember when the twins, alone, attended that school. No publicity. No cameras. It was an area that the twins could escape to. They are older now, have friends since their beginning in that school. Now, they are extremely sad about the turmoil.

Yet, the tups are causing publicity that the parent's assoc have had complaints about. Photographers now being monitored from being too close to the school. More security has been hired to protect all of the students due to the Gosselin children attending. No one wants their children photographed or frightened by these people.

Kate does not cooperate with the school, was out of town most of the time since Sept. Jon is the parent who tried very hard to help. Yet, he is not allowed into the home. He has a new job cannot see the children until he is off of work, if Kate allows the children to see him on Friday nights, etc.

This school has had other children with problems. Children have on going problems as they grow, but now we have "children not use to being in a normal setting" among regular children who play, disagree, make up and share. If you work in a school, you know that the closeness of all students can cause "sibling type rivalry" at times. Teaching, counseling, special education depts have worked and continue to work hard to help children who have problems, even family home problems.

It works most of the time, not always. All children are different. We know that. You know that if you have more than 1 child. Children are individuals.

Yes, this is a private school. Yet, Kate insisted from the beginning of the tups full days to be at the bus stop with a photographer. They (Kate and TLC) use these pick ups/drop offs at the bus stop as Photo Ops. I do not know how they know when Jon is there to pick them up either.

The children beginning full time school with the twins became a theme for Kate's show. It should never have been a part of the TV show. Nothing pertaining to their private life should have been exposed. She cannot seem to stop.

She along with Jon were advised that Alex and Collin's problems should not have become a publicity ploy.

What happens now?

We saw that Kate is back from wherever, the children were alone in that house with babysitters and the dog.

She is not equipped to be the mother of multiple children. No, she is not.

If she continues to pursue the performance arena, she should do so and allow the father to try, with psychiatric help, try to raise these children without any further damage to the 8.

The entire 8 children are in trouble. Not just the 2 who are being tutored at home. All of the children are very sad.

As hard as the twins are trying, they are suffering more than we know.

Kate takes out her anger on all of the children. Her orders to the children are the same for all 8. None of the children are treated as individuals.

Is TLC going to continue to hold these children to their mother and father's contract?

If so, we will see some terrible situations involving the twins. As they are being made fun of by what once were their friends.

Yes, this is all much sadder due to a woman and man who first saw the $$$ before they thought of their children.

12/18/2010 9:31 AM

Yes, I do know what is happening said...My husband and I saw her getting her gas, yep. Didn't know that I was seeing her or not, then the hair, the face is heavily covered with some type of makeup to cover the redness, but you can tell by the hair blowing and seeing the skull, which is white as white. Her face and lips are covered with something brown.

The photographer guy is there, standing near his car. She got in her van, made a phone call, he picked up his phone that was ringing.

What a joke this woman is. Why would she still want photos taken with all of this going on with the children?

Another car followed Kate in the van. An African American man, he waved at the photographer, then they drove toward the shopping area. I guess the Fed Ex office, etc.

So it was the van, the African American man in his car and then the photographer in his car.

I would have never believed it but we saw it with our own eyes. I wanted my husband to follow and he laughed and said, "we are not going to be a part of this".

Yes, she does look very old considering what her age is, and her hair is sort of white with blond. It is something you would expect to find on someone who spends a lot of excessive stripping of her hair. Too much, not natural at all.

Several people stared but she didn't flinch. Not like we normally do when pumping gas, look to see who is behind us or if cars are moving. Very busy station too.

I guess I can say I saw her and I agree, something very abnormal about her appearance, what happened to her?

I did wonder, if you have all of those people working for you in your house, why not send someone to pick up your mail, get your gas, etc. Stay at home, stay out of the limelight, let the story fade about the childdren.

She doesn't stop with the photographers, does she? Had no idea she was that obsessed. I mean I read about it, but now I saw it.

No, I did not think she was attractive. I thought she reminded me of someone who was trying too hard to look younger, but when you see them from behind, they seem okay, then when you see the face? Scary.

I know I didn't speak with her, but I must say I think there is something seriously wrong with her. Why doesn't she just move away from the area? Go where no one knows you.

12/18/2010 9:49 AM

Here's another interesting one:

The twins live a very sad life said...

Something that we who know the children wonder?

Why the twins do not carry a cell phone in their backpacks. They are not allowed to have a cell phone or to text.

When asked how they can get in touch with their mother and father, they said they can't unless they are at home and they are not allowed to answer the phone, a babysitter answers the phone. So, they can't get a hold of their Dad when the Mom is out of town.

I know, how do I know? My child was once a friend of one of the twin girls. Their friends have been denied access to them unless the mother permits. Not a play time or an activity. Everything goes through a written message to the Mom by way of the twin involved.

Their latest birthday party was very sad.

If so, we will see some terrible situations involving the twins. As they are being made fun of by what once were their friends.

Yes, this is all much sadder due to a woman and man who first saw the $$$ before they thought of their children.

Domestic sheep (Ovis Aries) are quadrupedal, ruminant mammals typically kept as livestock. Like all ruminants, sheep are members of the order Artiodactyla, the even-toed ungulates. Although the name "sheep" applies to many species, in everyday usage it almost always refers to Ovis Aries. Domestic sheep are the most numerous species in their genus, numbering a little over 1 billion, and are most likely descended from the wild mouflon of Europe and Asia. One of the earliest animals to be domesticated for agricultural purposes, sheep are raised for fleece, meat (lamb or mutton) and milk. A sheep's wool is the most widely used of any animal, and is usually harvested by shearing. Ovine meat is called lamb when from younger animals and mutton when from older ones. Sheep continue to be important for wool and meat today, and are also occasionally raised for pelts, as dairy animals, or as model organisms for science. Sheep husbandry is practised throughout the inhabited world, and has been fundamental to many civilizations. In the modern era, Australia, New Zealand, the southern and central South American nations, and the British Isles are most closely associated with sheep production. Sheep-raising has a large lexicon of unique terms which vary considerably by region and dialect. Use of the word sheep began in Middle English as a derivation of the Old English word scēap; it is both the singular and plural name for the animal. A group of sheep is called a flock, herd or mob. Adult female sheep are referred to as ewes, intact males as rams or tups, castrated males as wethers, and younger sheep as lambs. Many other specific terms for the various life stages of sheep exist, generally related to lambing, shearing, and age. Being a key animal in the history of farming, sheep have a deeply entrenched place in human culture, and find representation in much modern language and symbology. As livestock, sheep are most-often associated with pastoral, Arcadian imagery. Sheep figure in many mythologies-such as the Golden Fleece-and major religions, especially the Abrahamic traditions. In both ancient and modern religious ritual, sheep are used as sacrificial animals. In contemporary English language usage, people who are timid, easily led, or stupid are often compared to sheep. Domestic sheep are relatively small ruminants, usually with horns forming a lateral spiral and crimped hair called wool. Domestic sheep differ from their wild relatives and ancestors in several respects, having become uniquely neotenic as a result of man's influence. A few primitive breeds of sheep retain some of the characteristics of their wild cousins, such as short tails. Depending on breed, domestic sheep may have no horns at all (polled), or horns in both sexes (as in wild sheep), or in males only. Most horned breeds have a single pair. Another trait unique to domestic sheep (as compared to wild ovines, not other livestock) are their wide variation in color. Wild sheep are largely variations of brown hues, and variation with species is extremely limited. Colors of domestic sheep range from pure white to dark chocolate brown and even spotted or piebald.[4][5] Selection for easily dyeable white fleeces began early in sheep domestication, and as white wool is a dominant trait it spread quickly. However, colored sheep do appear in many modern breeds, and may even appear as a recessive trait in white flocks.[5][4] While white wool is desirable for large commercial markets, there is a niche market for colored fleeces, mostly for handspinning. Depending on breed, sheep show a range of heights and weights. Their rate of growth and mature weight is a heritable trait that is often selected for in breeding. Ewes typically weigh between 100 and 225 pounds (45-100 kg), with the larger rams between 100 and 350 pounds (45-160 kg). Mature sheep have 32 teeth (dental formula: I:0/4 C:0/0 P:3/3 M:3/3). As with other ruminants, the eight incisors are in the lower jaw and bite against a hard, toothless pad in the upper jaw; picking off vegetation. There are no canines, instead there is a large gap between the incisors and the premolars. Until the age of four (when all the adult teeth have erupted), it is possible to see the age of sheep from their front teeth, as a pair of incisors erupts each year. The front teeth are gradually lost as sheep age, making it harder for them to feed and hindering the health and productivity of the animal. For this reason, domestic sheep on normal pasture begin to slowly decline from four years on, and the average life expectancy of a sheep is 10 to 12 years, though some sheep may live as long as 20 years. Sheep have good hearing, and are sensitive to noise when being handled. Sheep have horizontal slit-shaped pupils, possessing excellent peripheral vision; with visual fields of approximately 270° to 320°, sheep can see behind themselves without turning their heads. However, sheep have poor depth perception; shadows and dips in the ground may cause sheep to balk. In general, sheep have a tendency to move out of the dark and into well-lit areas. Sheep also have an excellent sense of smell, and-like all species of their genus-have scent glands just in front of the eyes, and interdigitally on the feet. The purpose of these glands is uncertain, but those on the face may be used in breeding behaviors. The interdigital glands might also be used in reproduction, but alternative reasons, such as secretion of a waste product or a scent marker to help lost sheep find their flock, have also been proposed. Sheep and goats are closely related (both are in the subfamily Caprinae), and it can be difficult to distinguish them by their appearance. However, they are separate species, so hybrids rarely occur, and are always infertile. A hybrid of a ewe and a buck (a male goat) is called a sheep-goat hybrid, and is not to be confused with the genetic chimera called a geep. Visual differences between sheep and goats include the beard and divided upper lip unique to goats. Sheep tails also hang down, even when short or docked, while the tails of goats are held upwards. Sheep breeds are also often naturally polled (either in both sexes or just in the female), while naturally polled goats are rare (though many are polled artificially). Males of the two species differ in that buck goats acquire a unique and strong odor during the rut, whereas rams do not. The domestic sheep is a multi-purpose animal, and the more than 200 breeds now in existence were created to serve these diverse purposes. Some sources give a count of a thousand or more breeds, but these numbers cannot be verified.[6][10] Almost all sheep are classified as being best suited to furnishing a certain product: wool, meat, milk, hides, or a combination in a dual-purpose breed. Other features used when classifying sheep include face color (generally white or black), tail length, presence or lack of horns, and the topography for which the breed has been developed. This last point is especially stressed in the UK, where breeds are described as either upland (hill or mountain) or lowland breeds. A sheep may also be of a fat-tailed breed, which is a dual-purpose sheep common in Africa and Asia with larger deposits of fat within its tail. Breeds are also grouped based on how well they are suited to producing a certain type of breeding stock. Generally, sheep are thought to be either "ewe breeds" or "ram breeds". Ewe breeds are those that are hardy, and have good reproductive and mothering capabilities-they are for replacing breeding ewes in standing flocks. Ram breeds are selected for rapid growth and carcase quality, and are mated with ewe breeds to produce meat lambs. Lowland and upland breeds are also crossed in this fashion, with the hardy hill ewes crossed with larger, fast-growing lowland rams to produce ewes called mules, which can then be crossed with meat-type rams to produce prime market lambs. Many breeds, especially rare or primitive ones, fall into no clear category.

Breeds are categorized by the type of their wool. Fine wool breeds are those that have wool of great crimp and density, which are preferred for textiles. Most of these were derived from Merino sheep, and the breed continues to dominate the world sheep industry. Medium wool breeds have wool between the extremes, and are typically fast-growing meat and ram breeds with dark faces. Some major medium wool breeds, such as the Corriedale, are dual-purpose crosses of long and fine-wooled breeds and were created for high-production commercial flocks. Long wool breeds are the largest of sheep, with long wool and a slow rate of growth. Long wool sheep are most valued for crossbreeding to improve the attributes of other sheep types. For example: the American Columbia breed was developed by crossing Lincoln rams (a long wool breed) with fine-wooled Rambouillet ewes. Coarse or carpet wool sheep are those with a medium to long length wool of characteristic coarseness. Breeds traditionally used for carpet wool show great variability, but the chief requirement is a wool that will not break down under heavy use (as would that of the finer breeds). As the demand for carpet-quality wool declines, some breeders of this type of sheep are attempting to use a few of these traditional breeds for alternative purposes. Others have always been primarily meat-class sheep. A minor class of sheep are the dairy breeds. Dual-purpose breeds that may primarily be meat or wool sheep are often used secondarily as milking animals, but there are a few breeds that are predominantly used for milking. These sheep do produce a higher quantity of milk and have slightly longer lactation curves. In the quality of their milk, fat and protein content percentages of dairy sheep vary from non-dairy breeds but lactose content does not. A last group of sheep breeds is that of fur or hair sheep, which do not grow wool at all. Hair sheep are similar to the early domesticated sheep kept before woolly breeds were developed, and are raised for meat and pelts. Some modern breeds of hair sheep, such as the Dorper, result from crosses between wool and hair breeds. For meat and hide producers, hair sheep are cheaper to keep, as they do not need shearing. Hair sheep are also more resistant to parasites and hot weather. With the modern rise of corporate agribusiness and the decline of localized family farms, many breeds of sheep are in danger of extinction. The Rare Breeds Survival Trust of the UK lists 22 native breeds as having only 3,000 registered animals (each), and the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy lists 14 as having fewer than 10,000.[19][20][21] Preferences for breeds with uniform characteristics and fast growth have pushed heritage (or heirloom) breeds to the margins of the sheep industry. Those that remain are maintained through the efforts of conservation organizations, breed registries, and individual farmers dedicated to their preservation.
