Melbourne is known for its parks and gardens and its upside down river, the Yarra. Its world famous trams are an integral and growing part of the public transport network. Since the 1960's, Melbourne has become very decentralised and has major shopping centres in many suburbs. The road network has grown and improved with freeways and ring roads crossing the city with bicycle tracks and walking tracks. There are major modern sporting arenas for various sports all across Melbourne. There are Pubs, Clubs and Restaurants everywhere with many ethnic restaurants demonstrating Melbourne's multicultural lifestyle due to the large influx of immigrants from all over the world.
