Period from 14th century till 18th century was the new era of Indian Karnataka music forms. Curiosity towards Indian music by western society got an impetus after concert by Ali Akbar Khan in mid 1950's. This inspired Hippies to experiment music with Indian flavor. This gave a massive change and the period between 1961 till 1969 was period to largely publicize Indian music industry. Then fusion music with blend of Indo-western after 80's was brought in by Indian diaspora into Bollywood.
