In Pakistan most of the women wear shalvar kameez. However, they also wear lenga, sari, chori pajama and etc. The men wear boys shalvar kameez but they also wear kurtha kameez and sharwani.

The basic principle of dress in Islam to cover one's body in a way that the structure of the body, especially the private parts, is not exposed. Pakistanies wear shalwar/shirt, trousers/shirt, coats, Temet (a simple sheet of cloth) and shirt etc.
