Yes! Goldfish are not canabilistic and will not actively hunt and consume other goldfish that are smaller than them. Unless thay are like goldfish fry in which case they will absoloutely be eaten. But i doubt you would have bought goldfish fry so you should be just fine!

They should do, but they can be a little less healthy, as they aren't bred to last that long. That being said, the world record for the world's biggest goldfish came from a fish bait shop.

The best thing for your goldfish is goldfish food... flakes or pellets are good.
They can also have blood worms, and Daphnia (water fleas) (both of which can be bought frozen in pet stores)
They can also have some green foods such as cucumber in limited amounts.

Let's call the number of goldfish bought as G and the number of angelfish bought as A. We have the equations: 1.8G + 1.4A = 20.00 and G + A = total number of fish. We need additional information to solve for the exact number of each kind bought.

Yes - mosquito larvae are like potato chips to goldfish! I have a container water garden on my patio and earlier this week I noticed that it was completely full of hundreds of mosquito larvae swimming around in the water. I bought two (just two!) goldfish and put them in it this morning. Within the course of three hours, the two goldfish had eaten every single mosquito larvae - not a single one left. I strongly recommend common goldfish for anyone who has a mosquito larvae problem in their pond or water garden.

Goldfish given out as prizes at fairs are usually lethargic, emaciated, and overall just plain out unhealthy. Goldfish from fairs are often not given an appropriate home in which to live and the people who win them are not prepared for their new pet and probally do not know much about goldfish and their needs. For this reason many, many goldfish from fairs have simply died within a week or less after being taken "home". However if given an appropriate home and if nursed back to health goldfish from fairs can live between 10-20 years!
I won some goldfish from a fair and we bought a big tank and a filter and they've been alive for a year or so! I went to the same fair and won some more goldfish but they died in 2 days :( so i guess it really depends on how healthy the goldfish are.

You cant. Goldfish need much bigger tanks. 20-30 gallons. I bought 2 goldfish when I was new to aquarium hobby and put them in a 5 Gallon tank. The first one died in just one and a half day. The other one died just hours after the first one :(
So if I were you, I would get a bigger tank.
