That leaves a lot to the imagination...If you were burnt by fire, let the skin heal and see what remains, then talk to your professional tattooist about your options.. I once had a client who was imersed in acid up to about the nipple area on one side. He kept himself from going under with one arm... He suffered 3rd degree burns over the rest of him and was immediately flown to the Houston burn hospital..He was there for about 5 months..

When he came home I was one of the first people he called.."Hey, Baron, You remember the harley wings you tattooed on me? You havta come over and see this."

When I got to his house he showed me the tattoo on the arm that kept him from going under..They had to get so much skin from him for skin grafts and they had to get it from where he had undamaged skin..

" It looks a little rough", "I said,"that from the skin grafts?"

'Yes," he said and pulled up his sheet from his thigh to show me almost a complete replica of his tattoo on his thigh.."This is from the first graft, and this is from the second." At which point he lifted the sheet off his ribcage to show me a third set of Harley wings...Not as complete as the first but still very identifiable. I was flabberghasted...Hope this helps.
