You can just Google it you know, instead of waiting around for God only knows how long to get an answer. That's why I find some of these questions silly, but I'll entertain you. It depends on the country, and which part(s) of the car you're talking about. US Fiats have engines built here, but other parts from other countries (Brazil, Italy, UK).

On Single Overhead Cam engines it is on the side where the spark plugs are. If it's a rear engine Fiat or something that doesn't have an overhead cam, let us know so we can make sure you get the correct answer. Best regards, Chris http://fiat500usa.blogspot.com/

I would have a good look the electrical system. On North American vehicles this usually indicates that the main fuseable link has blown. If you have the manual for the car, check for where the main power is fused as a starting point. Could also be a problem in the fuse box itself. I don't see the Fiats that often but I know they were prone to electrical problems at times.

Fiats are made in many cities in Italy. The original Fiat plant was in Corso Dante, Torino. Next came the old Lingotto plant in the Lingotto area of Torino. It is famous for having an oval test track on the roof (not bad for 1916). Part of the test track can be seen in the 1969 movie "The Italian Job". Lingotto was closed in 1982 and was rebuilt into a concert hall, theater and hotel. The Fiat Mirafiori plant is in/near Torino. The Sevel Sud plant is in Val di Sangro, Atessa, Italy. The Cassino plant is in Monte Cassino. The Melfi plant is in Melfi, in the southern Italian region of Basilicata. The Fiat Pratola Serra plant is in Serra, Avellino, in the Campania region of Italy. The Termini Imerese Plant is in Sicily. Hope this helps, best regards, Chris http://fiat500usa.blogspot.com/

A sanction; decree. A legally binding command or decision entered on the court record (as if issued by a court or judge); "a friend in New Mexico said that the order caused no trouble out there"
Fiat is latin for "Let it be done".
In some cases it pertains to an order from the court such as the entering of a lawsuit judgment, divorce decree, etc.
In other situations it can pertain to a warrant for the arrest of an individual (that, I guarantee will "cause trouble").
Fiat, of Torino, Italy, intended for the second definition to be applied to their automobiles. Fiats were afordable--and intended to last, although once the make met USA standards, there was a change in the meaning: Fiat became known as the Fix-It-Again-Tony car. Thank goodness for wiring diagrams.
It may indeed be a pun on the latin word fiat, but F.I.A.T stands for Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino (Italian Motor Factory of Turin).
it is inconvertable paper money that is issued by government order order or fiat.
"Fiat" is also used in the Roman Catholic Church to mean "God's will be done." It is the basis for tradtional Catholic philosophy. Reference to the word and its deeper meaning can be found in the writings of ALL the doctors of the Church, including St. John of the Cross, and St. Teresa of Avila. It is, by Church tradition, the very key to Heaven.

I have not worked on Fiats, BUT... I have worked on a few American cars with the same issue, and it always turned out to be that there was some kind of obstruction in the exhaust system.
The first case I had this experience with was on an almost new 1958 Pontiac Super Chief with a V8 engine. In this case it was easy to diagnose the source of the problem, as at any throttle setting above an idle the muffler/tailpipe screeched like a jet engine at takeoff throttle setting!!!!!
Investigation revealed that the internal baffle plates in the muffler had defective spot welds which allowed the plates to move backward in the muffler until the plates were "stacked" up against each other. Since the holes in the plates were staggered, when the plates were stacked they severely restricted exhaust flow at any throttle setting above idle.
Later, as Catalytic Converters were installed for pollution control, it was common with engines running way too rich to buildup carbon inside the very tiny passages of the Catalytic Converter. This would limit the exhaust gas flow such that only the idle combustion exhaust gasses could freely pass through.
At throttle settings above idle, the amount of exhaust gas was too great to rapidly pass through the Catalytic Converter, and as the gas flow was retarded "back pressure" built up causing the engine to bog.
Not being familiar with the Fiat, I don't know if it utilizes a Catalytic Converter, and if it doesn't, another possible cause is some kind of blockage of the exhaust system [like a Potato stuck in the tailpipe, or a crushed exhaust pipe, muffler, or tailpipe. Of course, total obstruction of the exhaust system [like a Potato in the tailpipe] will prevent an engine from running at all.
Since your situation allows idling, but not greater throttle settings, I suspect the the cause is major restriction in your exhaust system.

When the war began, airplanes were used primarily for observation and to carry messages. However, aircraft had been used for bombing as early as the 1911 Italo-Turkish war. As armies realized the potential of aircraft, the relatively friendly early aviators soon became deadly enemies.
Airplanes became a powerful weapon of the war, used for bombing and strafing enemy positions, and able to attack well behind the front lines. Using their machine guns, they would conduct aerial combat against other aircraft (dogfights). Soon the opposing sides had to build antiaircraft defenses to defend against attacks from the air.

The question - if I've understood it correctly - seems to assume that America chose to enter WW2. This isn't the case. America was attacked by Japan on 7 December 1941, and four days later Germany declared war on the U.S. You're in good company. Many people seem to think that the Americans made a conscious decision to 'enter' the war as a moral act. Obviously, I'm aware that the question could be formulated differently, perhaps along the lines '... if the U.S. hadn't been attacked'. No offense is intended in the observations about the above answer, but it does appear that the question was not understood correctly. *The question did not ask if America CHOSE to "enter" WW2. Rather, it asked what the world would be like today if the U.S. had not entered the war at all. *Also, the U.S. DID enter the war by "a concious decision...as a moral act" in response to an unprovoked attack on a U.S. military base. On 7 December 1941, Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. The following day, December 8, the U.S. declared war on Japan. That declaration of war was three days prior to Germany's declaration of war on the U.S. Germany's declaration of war was an act of solidarity, or union, with their ally, Japan. One only has to recall a few of the words of President Franklin D. Roosevelt's declaration of war on Japan, "...a day which will live in infamy....", to find an indication of a tone of moral outrage. Back to the question. If the U.S. had never entered WW2, it is very probable that: *Germany and Japan would have emerged from the war with strong economies. *Automobiles like Germany's Mercedes-Benzs, BMWs, Volkswagens & Porsches, Japan's Toyotas & Nissans and Italy's Ferarris, Lamborghinis, Maseratis & Fiats would actually be seen on American roads. *There would be a four-lane, rapid speed road system akin to Germany's "Autobahn" covering the entire U.S. *We would be buying fine optical products from German companies like Zeiss, Leupold & Leica. *German(& Swiss) pharmaceutical companies like Bayer and Hoffman-La Roche would provide many of the medications that we consume every day. *We would see Japanese televisions, VCR's and many other electronic items in almost every American home. *German scientists would develop rockets that could fly to the moon and back and they would be launched from America. *Germany, Italy and Japan would be allowed to host Olympic Games. *Americans would be reduced to eating raw fish & pasta and drinking German beers. *Worst of all, our soldiers would have to wear helmets that look exactly like the ones that the Nazis wore. Seriously, without the entry of the U.S. into WW2, The Axis powers of Germany, Italy and Japan would most likely have been victorious. Only valiant Great Britain and huge Russia remained unconquered at the time of the U.S. entry into the war and it is unlikely, but not impossible, that they could have defeated The Axis. As tumultuous as the world is today, it would be a much worse place if The Axis was victorious and their sick & cruel idea(s) of how the world should be run became a permanent actuality.
