Evidence?
There is plenty of evidence to the age of the earth. Modern science cannot be trusted in its conclusions as they are bent on fitting an evolutionary model into all science. The origin and age of the earth is traceable to a certain point in history. beyond that, everyone just makes guesses, some better than others. The geological column is a hoax, carbon dating is not reliable and most other methods of aging rocks and earth are inaccurate at best. Our world history is observable back roughly 5,000 to 6,000 years. All cultures and societies have stories and genealogies passed down to them that give similar accounts of the earth's beginnings. We find sea life at the tops of mountains, there are 2 ways this can be interpreted... either clams could fly, or the mountains had water over them at one point. The Bible states that the earth was covered with water at one point and there are signs all over the place that there was a catastrophic flood i.e. the grand canyon, much of the landscape in Utah, large valleys and rivers with water etched markings high up on the cliffs, trees buried standing up straight, massive coal deposits, etc. This gives us a good indicator as to a point in history that produced many things laid down by water all over the earth. Prior to that, it is fairly easy to track the genealogies preceding Noah as all of the ages are given in the Bible. Adam was the first man and he lived about 960 years (yes, people lived longer prior to the flood as the living conditions were different. The earth was similar to a large hyperbaric chamber with a pressurized oxygen level greater than what we have today) Contrary to popular science, we are not evolving but devolving. We are increasing in technology but that does not prove evolution. We are dumber, weaker and live shorter lives now than we did thousands of years ago. If you want to know that truth about the age of the earth, look up scientists like Ken Ham, Kent Hovind, Henry Morris and others that they would endorse on the subject. Don't be fooled by the masses into thinking that you are cousin to a monkey. We were fearfully and wonderfully made by our heavenly father who has crafted this world, the stars, planets and universe with his mighty power. Out of the dust he created man and to dust we return at death. Our souls will live forever with Christ in heaven or forever in the depths of Hell. Choose this day who you will serve, as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Iron filings tend to align themselves with the magnetic field lines between the north and south poles of a magnet. This is due to the magnetic properties of iron, which allow it to be attracted to the magnetic field. The concentration of iron filings is highest at the north and south poles of the magnet due to the strong magnetic forces at those points.

It is an adventurous, hard-working, independent-minded and traditional kind of people that speaks the Basque language.
Specifically, Basque language speakers are called Basques in English. Throughout history, they evidence adventure in their economic reliance upon fishing and their maritime involvement in the European-originating voyages of discovery and exploration from the fifteenth century onwards. They exhibit a strong work ethic in farming, herding, and small-scale enterprises. They hold onto to their cultural independence, particularly as evinced in their tenacious loyalty to speaking a language like none other in the world. They remain tradition-bound not only in defending their language but also their distinct ways of expressing themselves culturally, politically and socio-economically.

One consequences of the Black Death was a cessation of wars. Also a sudden slump in trade immediately followed but were only of short duration. A more lasting and serious consequence was the drastic reduction of the amount of land under cultivation due to the deaths of so many labourers. This proved to be the ruin of many landowners. The shortage of labour compelled them to substitute wages or money rents in place of labour services in an effort to keep their tenants. There was also a general rise in wages for artisans and peasants. These changes brought a new fluidity to the hitherto rigid stratification of society.
The psychological effects of the Black Death were reflected north of the Alps (not in Italy) by a preoccupation with death and the afterlife evinced in poetry, sculpture, and painting; the Roman Catholic church lost some of its monopoly over the salvation of souls as people turned to mysticism and sometimes to excesses.

ruthless! greedy, arrogant. "good" looking ;) In addition to the before mentioned characteristics, he was also very smart and cautious. He knew he was embarking on a new method of governing and had to take things step by step rather than springing a new government on the Roman people all at once, risking yet another civil war. He exercised this caution by gradually easing the remains of the republic into the principate. One of his favorite expressions was "make haste slowly" and this, I think, says it all about about the key to his success.

In "Moby Dick," the sense of touch in the whale's tail is described as highly developed, particularly during the intense physical struggle depicted in the novel. While there is no direct comparison or contrast between subjects here, the focus on the whale's tail highlights its significance in the story both as a powerful weapon and as a means of survival for the whale.

She did what other women of that time and place did, she took care of the home, her husband, and their children. In addition to doing her duty of state and being a wife and a mother, Mary also participated in the following:
Mary, the mother of Jesus is celebrated as the Blessed Virgin Mary. An extraordinary person, she was chosen by God since her conception which is believed to be immaculate meaning that she herself was conceived without Original Sin. She is referred to as the Immaculate Conception by Catholics because of this.
She conceived by the Holy Ghost and gave birth to Jesus Christ while maintaining her virginity.
She married Joseph of the tribe of David. She was mother to Jesus Christ. By her intercession she procured the first divine miracle of Jesus at the wedding in Cana, which signaled the beginning of His active ministry. She administered to her Son throughout His years of preaching. She aided in the redemption of man by offering her Son. She was the first and at one point the only person to believe in Christ, having been specifically told His mission by Gabriel at the Annunciation and having been the only one to believe He would rise again after His death (as evinced by her failure to go to the tomb to finish the burial rites with the other women).

The very first appearances of a "pet" dog (twice, both closely resembling Bloodhounds) belonging to either Mickey or Minnie Mouse occurred in two 1930 Mickey Mouse cartoons. In 1931 the same dog reappeared and was given the name Pluto, thereafter officially joining Mickey's usual cast of characters.
Though the character art has evolved, it is most likely that Pluto was originally intended to be a Bloodhound, as evinced by the long, droopy ears, wrinkly face, thin whip tail, and slightly bowlegged, ungainly limbs. However, Mickey Mouse claims that Pluto is just a mutt.
The 1951 R'Coon Dawg cartoon proves that Pluto was intended to be a Redbone Coonhound, a breed similar to the Bloodhounds but with much less skin.
Hound of some breed.

Technically, no countries are run by aristocracy. Aristocracy is present in many forms around the world and generally consists of honorific titles and governance over areas of land. However, even aristocrats have bosses and the supreme aristocrats are given supreme honorifics such as King, Caliph, Emperor etc. These countries are considered to be governed by 'Monarchy' not 'Aristocracy'. There are also places like India, the UK and Sweden where aristocratic tradition persists but the country is ruled by democracy.

If, by ' lock up in second', you mean that you can shift into second, but the shift lever won't come back out of second, that is normally the shift linkage arm binding up either on the tranny cross-member or the third/fourth shift rod. This isn't uncommon. The 65 GT-350s came with an aluminium-cased Warner T-10, which was extremely flimsy. Shelby used those because they were significantly lighter than a top-loader, but, most of the T-10s got blown to bits in fairly short order and were replaced with the Ford top-loaders, which are bullet proof, as evinced by the fact that more of them are still in service than not nearly half a century later. A T-10 has different shift rods than a top loader, and people frequently accept 'close enough' on the shift rods fit down there, especially if they are also running a Hurst shifter instead of the original Ford unit. A quick add-on here. True, the top-loader is the pinnacle of trans strength. But the BW was as good as the Muncie, Saginaw, and New Process. Many people think the Ford shifter and rods were terrible but they are wrong. The little bushings went bad quickly so they got sloppy, but find a machinist to make you some aluminum ones or replace the OEM ones frequently and you will see that the factory shifter was stout as well.

Sherman v. US, 356 US 396 (1958)
In Sherman v. US, the Supreme Court upheld an earlier determination in Sorrells v. US, 287 US 435 (1932) that entrapment is an absolute defense barring prosecution for a crime (in this case, distribution of drugs). The Court held the following prohibited activities qualified as entrapment, an inducement by law enforcement officials or their agents to commit a crime the person would not otherwise commit.
"(a) Entrapment occurs only when the criminal conduct was "the product of the creative activity" of law enforcement officials.
"(b) The undisputed testimony of the Government's witnesses established entrapment as a matter of law.
"(c) Although the informer was not being paid, the Government cannot disown him or disclaim responsibility for his actions, since he was an active government informer who was himself awaiting trial on narcotics charges, for which he was later given a suspended sentence.
"(d) It make no difference that the sales for which petitioner as convicted occurred after a series of sales, since they were not independent acts subsequent to the inducement, but were part of a course of conduct which was the product of the inducement.
"(e) The Government cannot make such use of an informer and then claim disassociation through ignorance of the way in which he operated.
"(f) The evidence was insufficient to overcome the defense of entrapment by showing that petitioner evinced a "ready complaisance" to accede to the informer's request.
"(g) This Court adheres to the doctrine of the Court's opinion in Sorrells v. United States, 287 U. S. 435, and declines to reassess the doctrine of entrapment according to the principles announced in the separate opinion Mr. Justice Roberts in that case, such issues not having been raised by the parties either in this Court or in the lower courts."

The term for it is 'Meta-thought', or (the older term) 'self-reflection'. It is a profound, emergent property occurring [apparently] only in humans. As far as we know, no other animal contemplates its own existence or thought-process. It is, therefore, of profound philosophical and scientific significance. Many who believe in the existence of God and the supernatural cite it as a phenomenon that refutes the idea of materialism (the belief that there is no such thing as anything beyond the material world, and that all phenomena in the universe can be explained as the effect of a prior cause of all the interactions of matter preceding it- even human thought- meaning even it is simply one part of a set of dominoes in a staggeringly elaborate ultimate set of dominoes first set into motion at the big bang). The existence of self-reflection is said to refute materialism, because a purely material universe could not account for it, as any thought-process explained away as purely material is said to still only be overseen by the self, which is observing it from a remote vantage point. In a purely material universe free-will could not exist, because all choices and actions could be "blamed" (as it were) on the chemical interactions of a persons' brain- your "choices" are an illusion and merely the inevitable result of falling dominoes. Yet, free-will seems to exist, as evinced by meta-thought. This is the conundrum of modern philosophy and religion- an issue they are still debating. It has been said that the physical self- the body and brain- is merely a vehicle operated by a ghost (the self). Meta-thought would be the act of you (the ghost) having a look around inside of your "car" (the brain part of the physical self). The existence of meta-thought seems consistent with this idea, though science can neither confirm or deny it. Just think about it (no pun intended).

The 20th century witnessed three influenza pandemics; the first in 1918, another in 1957 and the last in 1968. In all, more than 40 million people perished. More recently, in 2009, an outbreak of the H1N1 virus killed approximately 20 thousand people worldwide. It is worrisome to note that the H1N1 virus of 2009, also known as the "swine flu," was a mutated version of the 1918 strain.
Now, researchers from the University of Southern California have discovered evidence of a new strain of H1N1 in animals in the North African country of Cameroon. Using a diagnostic test called ELISA, researchers were stunned to find that 89 percent of pigs studied were either actively infected or evinced signs of past exposure to H1N1. Other researchers are actively searching for the viruses in dozens of wild bird species.
The strain found in the African swine was almost identical to the strains found in humans in San Diego, Ca. This fact indicates that the pigs were infected by their human masters. Another, potentially devastating problem exists. H1N1 is a combination of human, swine and avian viruses. When active in pigs, different strains of the virus can recombine into potentially more virulent strains.
Poor nutrition, insufficient medical resources and inadequate infrastructure make Africa the ideal breeding ground for a new swine flu pandemic. Conditions are so bad that authorities fear that the virus will spread across the continent and into neighboring Europe and Asia before they even recognize it. The possibility exists that a new, deadlier strain could make the events of 2009 seem inconsequential.
Modern day air travel provides a virus the opportunity to reach to every corner of the world in a matter of days. Understanding how viruses originate and propagate is key to preventing or mitigating a pandemic. Early detection and eradication is humanity's only hope. Unfortunately, most countries are not well prepared, not even the United States.

After completion of his primary education at his native village, he studied at the D.A.V. High School and the D.A.V. College at Lahore. The Non-Corporation movement started by Mahatma Gandhi inspired Bhagat Singh to join National College, Lahore started by LalaLajpatRai and BhaiParmanand. This was the time when Bhagat Singh came in contact with his future associates like Sukhdev,Yash Pal,Jai dev. Etc. He evinced great interest in his studies. A voracious reader, he devoted himself wholeheartedly to the study of history, politics and economics. His special interest was the history of revolutions in various countries of the world. In college, he became the leader of the student community and founded the college students' union. During in college Bhagat Singh took active part in the non-corporation movements as "Swaraj" was promised by Mahatma Gandhi In a one years time.
In 1922, the Congress organized a procession in the town of Chaurachauri in Gorakhpur District where a few non cooperators were killed by the police. In protest of this a mob locked up twenty-two policemen together in a house, set fire to the house and burnt them. Mahatma Gandhi felt very sad at all this. He asked the people to end the non- cooperation movement which was then going on in the country.
The sudden end of the non-corporation movement came as a sudden blow and a huge disappointment to Bhagat Singh and the youth. Should an important movement be given up, because 22 policemen died in the struggle to attain freedom? Before that, a nineteen-year-old revolutionary by the name Kartar SinghSarabha who was Bhagat Singh's idol had been hanged by the British Government. Then none of these supporters of nonviolence raised any objection. How could non-violence become so important now? Such thoughts weakened Bhagat Singh's faith in non - violence and non-cooperation movements.
At the age of 16, Bhagat Singh left home to go to Kanpur due to his family's pressure on him to get married.

Artemis possesses the conventional Olympian godly attributes of superhuman physical properties, vitality, and functional immortality. She has not aged since reaching adulthood and is immune to harm from conventional means of injury and cannot suffer from any Earthly disease. Artemis is somewhat stronger than the average Olympian goddess because she is an independent huntress. Artemis also has other magical abilities which include the ability to transform the shape and form of herself and other beings into various forms. (The latter was evinced when she turned the Greek hunter Actaeon into a stag). Like her twin brother Apollo, Artemis can heal the injuries of other living beings but this is a seldom used power. Artemis can also cast spells that enable her to send plagues and also transform her shape and form to appear as another person, an animal, or an object. She can also cross dimensions such as from Olympus to Earth. Artemis is a master archer and carries in her arsenal mystical arrows of various properties.
She was the Goddess of the hunt, and under the Roman pantheon, the moon. She was quite a gifted archer, and like most Greek gods, she could change forms.
Artemis had the power to force disease or sudden death on any girl or woman. She could cause suffering with the sting of her arrows which she kept with her always.
