You could do 0 and still get a 6 pack. Seriously. 6 packs are not made by excessive repetitions of situps, they are made by losing the body fat behind your already existent abdominal muscles. Therefore, a 6 pack is made by having a good diet and workout which burns fat.
You can get a 6 pack without having to do a single sit up as long as you include weightlifting and cardiovascular activities in to your healthy dieted lifestyle.

A lot of people claim that drinking diet sodas give you the craving for real sodas but this is not true in my opinion. I've dieted in the past and really, really crave for a coke and want to give in then just go for the diet one because it isn't loaded with sugars.
The only downside of these diet sodas are the very high amounts chemicals in it. But if you're on a diet and you had been given the choice between a diet coke or a regular coke then go for the diet coke.
Remember; Water > diet > regular

Not all African American women have bubble butts. Some are high, some are low, some are full, some are flat, some are wide.
Kerry Washington is flat not because she dieted, but because that's the way she's built. Have to say, when Kerry wears nice lingerie or fashions she can give the appearance of having more. She's a savvy smart lady with great fashion sense , who knows what works best for her body type.

Althoug most obese individuals do not eat a healthy diet, it's important to explore the exceptions to this rule. For some obese individuals, diet and obesity are not directly related. If you have dieted and exercised religiously without any appreciable weight loss results, be sure to check with a doctor. You may be suffering from a thyroid problem, or another physical problem that causes weight gain and retention. For this reason, we should be careful about demonizing the overweight as lazy or lacking in good character. There are many physical ailments that can lead to dramatic weght gain and retention.

Hi, You will lose weight initially but then as soon as you start eating normally you will regain the weight even quicker than you lost iy. Your metabolic rate will slow down and your body will go into starvation mode. You will then have to work hard to maintain the weight. It is all rather complicated.....but the secret is to eat as little as often. I have crash dieted for years and after all this time have dropped from a UK size 14 to a size 6 and believe me.....i have to now work hard to maintain this and can not just eat what i want. I have simply messed up my metabolism....trust me....it is not worth it....i gain weight like the click of a finger and this is due to crash dieting.

Whether you blame heredity, or you've been struggling after having a beautiful baby, cellulite affects 80% of women over the age of 20. Cellulite buildups are a natural (and frustrating) part of life. Fat gets locked into pockets below the surface and, unlike other fat in our bodies, it can't be dieted or exercised away. Cellulite may have the appearance of cottage cheese, but it's actually a tough substance that gathers under the surface of your skin and is impossible to wipe away with lotions, creams or even intense exercise. In order to make a real difference, treatments must physically break down the cellulite layer.

Obese people often have a degree of insulin resistance. Many people are insulin resistant without being aware of it. If you are insulin resistant, or if you find it difficult to lose weight, or if you have 'dieted' in the past only to regain the weight, you will do better counting carbohydrates rather than counting calories.
In which case, choose low carbohydrate vegetables. For a carbohydrate in vegetables chart, see the page link, further down this page, listed under Related Questions. Alternatively, if you prefer to count calories, see the other related vegetable question for a calorie in vegetables chart. You may print the charts out if you wish to and use them as daily guides.
I have also added some other Related Questions that I think you will find most useful

The American Indians hunted, farmed, fished, and gathered berries. The area they lived in designated what they ate. Native Americans in the Midwest ate fish, buffalo, deer, birds and small game, such as rabbits. Meat could be cooked fresh or smoked, dried, and stored for long journeys or winter months.
Flatbread is another common food still to this day. Native American tribes in the North West practice whale hunting and that was a common staple in their diet, along with various sea foods. Plains tribes, like my own, were hunter/gatherers who dieted similarly as the above answer explains, with buffalo as an important animal. South-western tribes ate what would come out of the desert, and woodlands tribes were also hunter/gatherers who potentially had a wider range of game to choose from.

Many of the causing factors of anorexia have remained the same over the years. Social pressure has always been a large factor, though the exact pressues have changed. In the 1920s America, for instance, it was very "in style" to have a boyish figure, so women dieted so as not to grow hips, curves, and breasts. Current day, many Western nations focus on being thin as an ideal model of success and fame, and many women try and emulate their favouraite celebrities. Models are very thin in only more recent times, placing more factor-motivation to be thin than even 50 years ago when models globally were closer to the weight and size of the average woman. Fasting, which can exacerbate eating disorders, was more common in the "old days" when religion was more prominent than it is today.

ok nvm I just learned that crash dieting will result in ur body lossing muscle,I definitly don't want that, ill just eat smaller portions and healther food and run alot
Answercrash dieting is not a good thing 2 do... it it makes you weak and tired all the time the best thing to do is to just work out...crunches toe-touches,etc...otherise your body is not used to all of a sudden not eating and you start breaking down and looking aweful Answeractually im real health obsessed.when I was 13 I crashed dieted and lost 12 pounds in like 10 days but yea non of it was fat.the food I would normally eat wasent in my body so the scale showed improvement so I was happy but in reality there was most likely no body fat percentage difference.lol I do alot of crunches but unless I get rid of that layer of fat covering it I wont have my 6pac I want so badly!1 answer
Well, I am fifteen and 5'4", and I weigh 118 pounds. I am also a very athletic girl who runs and does powerlifting, so this weight can be very different. I have a friend who just dieted for powerlifting, and dropped four pounds to weigh 123 pounds.
For a guy, weighing anywhere between 115 and 132 is beyond healthy. At least, this is what my other friend weighs. Actually, he's in the middle of the range at 120 or something like that. Depending on your body type you could weigh more, but you probably shouldn't weigh much less.
For a girl, the range is more like 105-125 for an athletic person. I don't really know about non-athletic people, since I come from an athletic-based high school. Pretty much everyone is in athletics and many sports.

I had tumescent liposculpture on my upper and lower abs, love handles in the front and back (they call this hips). It worked great! I saw final results in 6 months, with improvement along the way.
I had a lot of bruising in the waist area, but I was up and caught a plane the next day. The surgery did not keep me bed ridden. I did everything I would normally do in a day. The bruising cleared in a week.
After the surgery I dieted off another 8 lbs. With the combination of both, I went from a size 12/14 in jeans down to a size 6, 6 months later.
The cost was a fraction of liposuction. I paid $5900 for all areas. The procedure for all 5 areas took about 3 1/2 hours and I was awake through the whole thing. The only painful part during the surgery was when they went near my belly button. They said that was normal. There was no pain in any other part of the abs, hips or waist.
What a confidence booster! Everyone thought I had my boobs done, but it was just the upper abs sucked out so it made my chest look better and perkier! A must do if you don't like the way you look.

In the star trek years, Bill Shatner's weight fluctuated each season between 165 and 180; post Star Trek he maintained himself around 175 for film and TV roles. For "T.J. Hooker" Shatner again lost and gained weight during all 5 seasons between 180 and 200.
In the Star Trek films Shatner got down to 165 to again play Capt Kirk in the first Stat Trek movie but gained weight thereafter for each Trek sequel.
He was 185 for 2, 180 for 3, 185 for 4 and 5 and 195 for the final OS Trek movie. For his last appearance as Capt Kirk in the first TNG Trek film ,Shatner jogged and crashed dieted to weigh 200, then gained as much as 30lbs he kept on all during his role as Denny Crane.
Post Bosten Legal, Bill has packed on more weight.
