Community college is an excellent way to begin or end one's college education. Completing the first two years of classes at a community college before transferring to a four-year university is an excellent way to save money because community college tuition is normally much lower. For students planning to work in a field that requires only an Associate degree, community colleges usually have a wide variety of programs.

Yes, a community can have two or more populations of the same species coexisting together. This can happen if different populations occupy different niches within the community, leading to their coexistence. Additionally, variability in factors like food availability, habitat preferences, or behavior can also allow multiple populations of the same species to inhabit a community.

There are a lot of community factors that would affect business location decisions. The business must consider the size of the community and the impact the business would have, for example a business might move into a small community and then hire workers. In turn if the business is forced to lay off a large portion of its workforce it's then in turn for creating an economic downturn and hardship within the community.

Other considerations should include the local government structure, availability of emergency resources such as police, medical facilities and fire departments, proximity to transportation, tax abatement offers. The company should also consider the availability of adequate housing, education, shopping, and entertainment for employees that will be transferred to the new location.

If you don't have any expansion packs, you can choose a neighbourhood (Pleasantview, Strangetown or Veronaville) and there are some community lots that were already there. If you can build, go to lots and houses bin (press F2) and choose the option empty lots (something like that), place the empty lot in the neighbourhood give it a name, and choose the type : residental, or community. Then click on that lot to start building something. When you finish, save it, enter a house and make your Sim call a taxi and than choose the community lot you want. Hope I helped! If this isn't the answer to your question, improve the question, it can be misunderstood.

For decades, community colleges have filled a much needed role in the U.S. academic system. They are open to all students (there is not a traditional “application and acceptance” process) and offer classes for lower costs than most state universities. Additionally, most courses taken for credit at a community college will transfer to other institutions, meaning that a student could begin his or her career at a community college and then transfer to another institution to finish his/her B.A. degree.

Therefore, community colleges tend to serve students in transition, students who cannot afford to attend a traditional 4-year college/university, students looking to fulfill general education requirements (at a lower cost) before attending a traditional college/university, students seeking an associate’s (A.A.) degree (there are many fields in which this is the only degree required), adult students returning to school, local professionals looking to acquire more skills through certificate programs….the list goes on.

Because community college courses give students a lot of flexibility (many courses are offered online or in the evening), they also tend to attract non-degree seeking students who are looking for personal enrichment (language courses, arts courses, computer courses, etc.). Also, many states have postsecondary options, meaning that high school students can attend state colleges or community colleges during their senior year and receive college credit for the courses taken. Many students choose to complete their senior year in high school at a community college because it is a great way for them to transition to the rigorous environment of a 4-year institution.

Typically, community college professors are there because they love to teach (as opposed to some professors at major research universities who operate in a “publish or perish” climate, sometimes to the detriment of their teaching). A M.A. degree in the subject being taught is required for community college professors, but many hold Ph.D.s or other terminal degrees. Accessibility to students is a major priority of most community college professors, who hold regular office hours and are often available to clarify concepts before or after class.

With the ongoing economic downturn, community colleges have seen an increase in enrollment across most programs and majors. Many students who would have in the past gone straight to a 4-year institution are now choosing to complete their general education requirements at a community college (for less than half the price) before moving on to finish their degree. Also, community colleges are responding to changing job market needs and implementing a variety of new certificate programs (in languages, computer skills, accounting, etc.) to help professionals advance in their careers, keep their jobs or beef up their resumes.

Community colleges have also seen quite a bit of new governmental funding thanks to the current administration’s focus on accessible education. Dr. Jill Biden (wife of Vice President Joe Biden) is a community college professor and has been instrumental in communicating the importance of community colleges to both present and future students who are looking to acquire the skills to be successful in their professional lives.

There are many different community college nursing programs from which a person can choose. This is a smart investment: Once a person has a nursing degree, he or she will be unstoppable. This is because such a career is always in demand. After all, people are always in need of care and help after an accident or when they fall ill or get on with their years. The following are some tips for how to select a community college nursing program.

Different schools' reputations, rankings, and reviews are a solid place to start when a person is researching community college nursing programs. Interested students should go online to read up on what current and past students as well as college nursing experts have to say about different community colleges and their programs. The more reviews a reader experiences, the better and more well-rounded the view of the school.

People should also visit any school they are considering. Everything from the look of the buildings to how the admissions office conducts business will affect this decision. Thus, students should schedule tours, sit in on classes, and experience potential colleges.

Always look at class size and the type of requirements deemed necessary by a community college nursing program. It is important to a student to think about whether or not they can deal with large classes or if they want more hands on experience. The requirements or number of credits and types of experiences the program offers should fit or suit one's interests. After all, this nursing program will train an individual so that he or she is then ready to enter a hospital, school, nursing home, or some other nurse-based position.

If an individual does his or her research, choosing a community college nursing program or degree is easy. The more a student knows about a school, its reputation, and the nursing program, the easier it will be to see which program suits the individual's interests and learning style. Community colleges are often cheaper than other options but offer some great classes and training. This is a perfect option for someone who wants to get out into the work force as quickly as possible without going into serious debt. No two college or program is the same: This is why students need to take the time to research any community college nursing program they are considering.

Most parents dream of their child attending college. Usually the dream includes a big name university or even an Ivy League school. However, community colleges are a great way to save money while students fulfill basic requirements and prove their commitment to getting a degree.

Unless a student is awarded a significant scholarship to a university, a community college can save parents an enormous amount of money. The tuition at community colleges costs about one-third of what universities charge, and most are within driving distance of almost anywhere, allowing a student to live at home and saving on dorm fees and meals for at least two years. Also, large universities charge numerous fees that cannot be deducted if a student doesn’t use a particular service. Parking, student union, technology, and energy fees are often added to each student’s bill and can add up to 40% of the total cost.

General requirement courses, which take up most of the first two years at a university, can be taken at a community college. A student can obtain these locally, at a reasonable price, and then transfer to a university. General education requirements can change from university to university, so it’s important to match the required classes to those offered at your local community college. Community colleges have academic advisors who can help a student choose the classes they need.

Although parents want degrees for their children, high school graduates aren’t always motivated to put forth the effort needed to pass their classes. The freshman tradition of being “home by Halloween” is an expensive experience. Far better to test the waters at half the price before spending the big bucks.

Besides money, there are other good reasons for community college attendance. Some students need to repair grade point averages or test scores. Others have work or family obligations that cannot be put on hold while they acquire a degree. Some students choose careers that require a certificate program or an associate’s degree, which aren’t available at universities.

A community college is worth considering. There are many reasons to make it your first choice when planning for higher education.

The impact of the recession is causing more people to look for ways to cut cost. Some parents that have children graduating from high school are having difficulty paying for a college education. Private and public colleges and universities can be extremely expensive. For example, one year can cost from $20,000 to $70,000 per year. More families are considering the advantages of enrolling in community colleges.

Community colleges have been looked at by some as an inferior way to get a higher education. But often students that start out in community colleges are more successful than those that do not. The smaller class size encourages instructors and students to become more acquainted. This results in a closer relationship during the classes. As a result, many students excel in these courses. The one on one training can make a huge difference in the life of a struggling student. In addition, the transition from high school to college can be overwhelming. Starting out in community colleges gives the student a chance to adjust to their new found freedom.

Additionally, community colleges are less expensive than traditional public and private universities and colleges. A student and their family can save as much as $10,000 to $50,000 by attending community colleges. Many students are discovering that they can take their foundational classes at this school, and they can transfer when it is time to pursue a major. This method is highly cost effective, and it makes a great deal of sense.

In conclusion, new ways of thinking are causing many people to reevaluate higher education options. It is great to attend an ivy league or traditional university; however, the budget of many is unable to afford this. Students do not have to completely lose out on a higher education because of finances. It is very possible to get a good quality education at a more affordable cost. Students that are considering racking up massive student loans may want to rethink this. Getting educated at community colleges is a way to avoid massive debt. This will be very important in their financial life. Many students express regret over the looming student loans. The difficult economy makes it worse on these students. Some are unable to find jobs and pay on their college student loans.

Community colleges have sometimes been unfairly categorized as institutions that are inferior to “real colleges away from home. In reality, community colleges are more often than not institutions that are academically stable and offer students excellent educations while giving them time to ease into college while at home. There are other reasons for staying at home and attending a community college. They even have benefits that larger universities do not have.

Small classes

Individual attention and the ability to really get to know professors will help some students warm to the idea of college.

Comforts of home

Home just feels better than away from home for some young adults. They may not be ready to handle life away from family. They may not want to handle it. Learning is easier when a student is relaxed and for the first few years of college, a community college gives students time to enjoy home a little long.

Time to grow

If a student is immature, staying at home may be best. It gives them time to get an education and remain under the guidance of adults. This isn’t always for the best but in some cases, it is an advantage.

More time with family

If family members are ill or still for good reasons need a student at home, the student can still receive an education while tending to these family members. Leaving home during a time of turmoil within the family can leave a student feeling so guilty that education is all but impossible. They return home a failure. Rather than experience that, community colleges are a chance for them to remain at home, cope with a crisis, and still receive a great education.

Community colleges aren’t a dead end. They’re the beginning of what can be a successful academic career. Starting college life at a community college is a good choice for many college students and starts them on a road that leads to academic success and eventually a nice job. There is nothing wrong with foregoing big campus life for a couple of years after high school. It can even help some people ease into college responsibilities and get a glimpse of the life ahead before having to rush head first into it.

Community colleges are a popular stepping stone to larger colleges and Universities for many students. Two year colleges have made it possible for many students who would not normally be able to afford a college education to attend school. Community colleges have numerous advantages and can be a wonderful way to finish an Associates or Bachelors degree. Below are some of the advantages to a local college.

First, these schools are generally less expensive than a traditional four year school. A standard University will require a student to complete 2 years of general education classes before entering their major area of study. These classes can easily be taken at a community college for a fraction of the cost of a University. For one, the tuition in itself is cheaper. However, the student also does not have dorm and living expenses as most students can still live at home when attending a college in their community. In addition, most local college credits will transfer to a larger school without a problem. This is also beneficial for those who do not know what they want to major in or what field in which they want to pursue a career. The average savings for two years is about $10,000-$15,000.

Second, some students do not know if they are ready for the responsibility of leaving home, paying bills, and being thrust into a large environment filled with a lot of people, large classes, work, and pressure. Therefore, community college provides a transition to a larger college and can help students make the leap from high school to a University. Community colleges offer college level coursework, but still provide an environment similar to that of high school including: smaller classes, one-on-one attention, and a more laid back environment. In addition, the student still has the option of living at home and delaying the responsibility of paying for a dorm or apartment.

Third, many high schools will offer scholarships to the local colleges for superior grades. These often include free tuition for two years. These scholarships can be easier to obtain than a four year college scholarship and provide comparable coursework.

Community college is an affordable alternative to a traditional college and can provide students with a stepping stone into the pressure filled world of college.

It's not clear what the questioner is asking.

In Mississippi, the property and debt issues are typically settled between the parties by a signed Marital Settlement Agreement or the property award is actually order and decreed by the Chancery Court within the Decree of Divorce.

Mississippi is referred to as a "Title" state. When the parties are unable to reach a settlement, the Chancery Court will take the following approach to dividing the assets; First, it will go though a discovery process to find out who has title to what property. Second, under normal conditions, the spouse who has title will be awarded that property.

Most communities throughout the United States have a problem now and again with dogs and cats causing problems. Whether it be an abuse claim or a damage caused by a dog or cat, the animal control officer is granted authority under law to make arrests and write citations to the human owners and to take animals into custody for quarantine or protection.

Most animal control officers do not function in a capacity to deal with issues involving wild game, but many officers in rural areas are authorized to handle issues of law concerning livestock. It is tough to imagine anyone who would abuse an animal, but the abuse is not confined to just dogs and cats. Any pet and livestock may be physically abused in any number of ways from severe beatings to being kept in unsanitary or dangerous conditions, as well as not having food or water provided to them.

Some animal control officers have expanded police powers in larger urban environments to the point of being provided firearms for their own protection. Some animal control officers have vehicles outfitted similar to police cruisers that are equipped to detain both animal and human offenders who violate the local jurisdictions animal laws. The carrying of firearms is new to the animal control officer and has become a necessity more for the human offenders they encounter rather than the other animal species they deal with on a day to day basis.

Animal control officers of big cities typically wear a uniform that looks very much like a regular police officer’s uniform though they are charged with keeping the animal laws and not the other criminal and traffic laws. Smaller communities may subcontract the private services of a business that provides animal control services. The smaller communities may have the provider of the services sworn as a public service officer in order to be granted arrest and citation issuing powers. Non-sworn officers in charge of animal control would need to have a police officer make arrests or issue citations.

The need for animal control services in communities grows as the population grows. The cause of most issues needing an officer to respond are the fault of negligent or irresponsible owners rather than being the fault of the animal itself.
