Pressed rawhide is made by compressing layers of rawhide together, resulting in a denser and longer-lasting chew compared to regular rawhide, which is simply dried and shaped. Pressed rawhide tends to be tougher and more durable, making it a better option for aggressive chewers. Regular rawhide, on the other hand, is softer and easier to chew, but may not last as long.

Probably. It depends upon whether there is a mesh floor as degus are prone to bumble foot so shouldn't be living on a mesh floor? Also it depends upon the cages materials and construction.Degus are very efficient chewers and if its not metal they most likely will be able to chew it with results of degus escaping and/or needing medical help due to ingestion of materials that they shouldn't ingest and cannot digest.

Three fingers of tobacco is often referred to as the size of dip one takes from a can of chewing tobacco. First timers usually use one finger and a thumb, people who have been chewing a little while will use two fingers and a thumb, and some veterans chewers will use three fingers and a thumb. This is a large sized dip and will usually last any where from an hour and a half to two and a half hours, depending on the person.

Unfortunately, hounds in general tend to be chewers - ask anyone with a basset in particular. It tends to be a lifelong trait. As for biting you in particular, they ought to grow out of it. Scolding it IMMEDIATELY when it has nipped you with a firm "No!" is often effective. There is absolutely no need to punish such behaviour in a puppy by tugging/pulling on its lips, biting back, shouting or hitting - all this will do is teach the puppy to become defensive and possibly scared, which ultimately may make the biting worse.

Different Gerbils like to chew on different things but gnaw sticks are good for them

Yes.

Gerbils are enthusiastic chewers.

They will chew on practicaly anything but some things could choke and maybe kill them.

Toilet roll tubes are good for them as well as anything made out of that sort.

Do not give them painted cardboard.

Also in pet shops you can get wooden blocks designed for chewing and you can even get large chews for gerbils.

Hamsters will chew on anything. Some hamsters are chewers and others are not interested. They will chew on plastic, wood, metal and pretty much anything else if they want to. They need to chew to keep their incisors down as they grow. I've seen some pretty crazy chewing and I've yet to have seen a hamster break his teeth. Try some chews toys if you have a chewer. Little non-flavored Milkbones are always a favourite.

By bladder stones I assume you mean urinary calculi. Feedlot sheep (and goats) are fed concentrates that are high in grain to fatten them before slaughter. Ruminant animals (cud chewers) like sheep, goats and cattle are designed by nature to eat grass, leaves, bark and other plants, NOT grains. Grains contain too much calcium, which leads to the formation of stones. Pet goats are often castrated males called "wethers". Goats are typically castrated at a very young age, and their urinary plumbing does not mature after castration. They are also often fed grain, which is unnecessary, and leads to the formation of stones.

The laws vary from State to State on spitting in public,in some States it is illegal to spit in public areas such as sidewalks, around entryways to businesses and/or public buildings ect... Some States even have laws against the use of a spit cup for tobacco chewers in resturants, public buildings, businesses ect..

There are also the city/town/county ordinances that can vary from area to area concerning spitting in public...The vast majority people who break such laws are not arrested they are given a citation that includes a (fine) much like a seatbelt violation....

Small or medium-sized breeds such as the French Bulldog, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, or Pug are generally well-suited to indoor living due to their lower exercise needs and adaptability to apartment or small space living. It's important to choose a breed that matches your lifestyle and energy level.

I had this same questions and found my answer during my quest to quit smoking in 2012. The short answer is that each insurance company is different but the average is 1-3 years without the use of tobacco products such as cigarettes, cigars, or chewing tobacco. I also found that nicotine alone is not considered smoking and many people like myself can be considered a "non-smoker" while using products like electronic cigarettes. I'm gona try a Nicomate.com electronic cigarette in 2012 and see if it works. I hope quitting smoking with electronic cigarettes proves easier than the gum, meds, and patches I've already tried! Cheers and happy 2012!
