Humphrey has written several books on the subject. I have read 4 of them. All are VERY seriously flawed; they contain thousands of errors. (Yes thousands, that is not exaggeration). I have reviews from professional accountants and others to confirm what I say.

Most of Shaw's books were published by Elm publications; for many years a small private (sole trader) business operating from what look like outbuildings along a country lane in King's Ripton.

I have elsewhere described Shaw's books as "hideous" and "grotesque". I stand by those words. It is clear he has very little knowledge of the subject.

I am experienced university and college lecturer.
