PAYG is an acronym for "pay as you go."

PAYG has two meanings in business - one for the mechanism by how a service is paid for and one for the manner in which a company pays taxes.

In some industries, customers have the ability to pay for services on a monthly basis (contract basis) or as they transact (PAYG basis). For example, many mobile phone companies offer both payment options to flexibly service a diverse customer base.

Taxes (either for the company directly or on behalf of employees) are usually paid on a PAYG basis. Depending on country, tax payments for a company can be made on a quarterly basis. When making payments on behalf of employees (e.g., income tax witholding, national insurance payments, etc.), those payments are made to the government on a more frequent basis.

These days, parents are beginning to willingly purchase cell phones for children. The reason is to ensure the safety of their children at all times of the day. A payg mobile phone is also known as a prepaid cell phone. A prepaid cell phone is beneficial for a young child, because it does not allow a child to overuse his or her cell phone. There are boundaries set on the number of minutes a child is given each month with a payg mobile phone. Many parents enjoy the security this phone provides in keeping them from having to pay ridiculously high cell phone bills.

Any pay as you go phone in North America will work across the US without extra charges being incurred, if you are planning to visit Europe you should contact your provider for their overseas policies (some companies have extra per minute charges overseas) before going over. If you do not have a payg phone in the US, purchasing an inexpensive phone once you arrive at your destination is the easiest way to have cell service on your visit.

No you may not get an iphone 4s without a contract in some countries. However you can get them without a contract in others. However, the cost of the handset becomes really expensive for up front costs on PAYG.

1 answer

It is up to you. A contract means you can get the phone for free, and get a new one when the contract renews. Non contract is when you have to buy the phone up front and put a PAYG sim in it

1 answer

Yes you can however contract providers can hold you for payment if you have any contract period left. If you are changing to PAYG or moving to another network then you will need a MAC code (migration authority code).

Although PAYG (Pay As You Go) is called a "withholding tax," it is not a tax but a procedure for withholding projected income tax liabilities as money is earned. Under that plan, the taxpayer prepays taxes in installments, usually paycheck-by-paycheck. In the U.S., prepaying federal income taxes began in 1943, when tax legislation created the first federal requirements for the payroll withholding "tax" and for estimated tax payments. The term is the common one in Australia for the employers responsibility to employees.

Pay As You Go (PAYG) withholding is a legal requirement to withhold amounts for income tax purposes. If you have employees, you're required to withhold tax from payments you make to them. You may have to withhold tax from payments to other workers, such as contract workers. As a new employer, you must register with the Tax Office before you withhold from payments to your employees. You may also need to withhold an amount from payments to other businesses if they don't quote their ABN to you on an invoice or other document if required.

You have to be more specific as to what type of phone, and with or without contracts.

If you go to buy mobile with contract the you get most of mobile free but if you buy PAYG or Sim Free mobile then you pay actual price of mobile.

So its on you that which phone you want and what plan you need.
