While it is possible to emulate pixel shader with software like "swiftshader" or "3d analyze" doing so only puts the workload on your CPU. Unless you have a hugely powerful system, emulating pixel shader will most likely result in unacceptably low performance and system instability.

More than likely, your best option is to simply replace your video card with one that natively supports pixel shader 2 or 3, they are not too expensive these days & will improve performance in other games as well.

Nvidia is currently the leader in gpu performance with the GTX 560 I personally have dealt with both companies I tend to stick to Nvidia seeing as about a month ago my Overclocked GTX 8600 died so I decided to buy a Xfx ati raedeon 5770 HD and that was DOA right out of the box so I traded it in for an Nvidia GTX 460 and the second I installed it it worked just fine Nvidia has always had the faster shader clocks allong with core clocks but you can't beat atis for the price I mean the gtx was like $260 while the raedeon was $180 it's always about preference and budget the best manufacturers are gonna be Nvidias actual cards (not like pny's or bfg tech's) or EVGA if ur going Nvidia. If ur going ati then XFX or Asus.

9800 GTX+ is better than the 8800GT, they have different cores. The 9800GTX + is also manufactured on a 55nm die.

The GeForce 8800 GT features a clock speed of 600 MHz and a GDDR3 memory speed of 900 MHz. It also makes use of a 256-bit memory bus, and uses a 65 nm design. It is comprised of 112 SPUs, 56 TAUs, and 16 ROPs.

Compare those specs to the GeForce 9800 GTX+, which comes with GPU core speed of 738 MHz, and 512 MB of GDDR3 memory running at 1100 MHz through a 256-bit bus. It also features 128 Stream Processors, 64 Texture Address Units, and 16 Raster Operation Units.

In theory, the GeForce 9800 GTX+ should be 18% faster than the GeForce 8800 GT 512MB overall.

GTX 260 should be better than GTS 250.

GTX 260 requires a high end power supply whereas the GTS 250 will even work on a lower end PSU(at least 500w) because it ships with a six to 4pin adapter.

For a single GTX 260 you will need atleast a rated 550W or 650W power supply like a corsair TX650 to power it in case you hv a high end processor as well.

But the GTS 250 is a good option for those not wanting to invest in other comoponents as well but want a mid-high end GPU...

But the GTX 260 SP 216 destroys all games....just dont let the other components in the system bottleneck it.

the gts 250 1 gig can handle every game on the market also, as long as you dont allow other components to slow it down.

I have an entertainment laptop by HP and when I updated my system from Vista to 7,I had problems with the display drivers and the sound drivers as well.

I did find a solution to this.

Once you're done installing 7 on your desktop/laptop, go to control panel, settings, and then device manager.

On device manager, locate your display driver, click on properties and select update automatically. If this fails, select roll back - manually download the latest driver for your display card and run the .exe file from that download.

It should work fine after this.

The GeForce 9600 GT 1GB features core clock speeds of 650 MHz on the GPU, and 900 MHz on the 1024 MB of GDDR3 RAM. It features 64 SPUs along with 32 TAUs and 16 ROPs. Compare that to the GeForce GT 430 1GB, which has a core clock frequency of 700 MHz and a GDDR3 memory frequency of 900 MHz. It also makes use of a 128-bit memory bus, and makes use of a 40 nm design. It features 96 SPUs, 16 Texture Address Units, and 4 Raster Operation Units. that means gt 9600 is better

There is no real spanish equivalent to that name. The closest I can think of would be Jacin or Jacian. In most cases, spanish speakers would probably just say Jason as 'Jazon' (Ha-Sone)

Maybe Jacinto, it sounds pretty close to me.

There is a Spanish equivalent for the English Jason: Jasón. Same spelling, with an accent (and stress) on the ó. See the Spanish Bible (NVI), Romanos 16:21. And yes, it is pronounced Hah-SONE.
