Karmann Ghia Trunk?

I am not sure what you are asking, but will try to answer what you might have asked.

The VW Type 14 Karmann Ghia has a front trunk for luggage much like the VW Sedan (Bug) does. The Ghia has a pull handle on earlier models, and a small lever in later ones to open the front hood.

Lindsey Lee

PS from Altema: In addition to the front trunk, there is a rear luggage compartment behind the rear seat which is surprisingly large, and the rear seat flips down to become a carpeted luggage platform which extends under the rear window. As a bonus, there is a pair of hidden empty spaces under the rear seat (I'd recommend tool box liner to protect the metal floor).

My best friends wedding was last weekend and we decided to have our nails, makeup, and hair professional done at the Karma Salon & Spa. None of us had ever been to the salon before, but the maid of honor had heard good things about Karma and it was close to the location that the wedding was taking place.Upon arriving at Karma, myself, the bride, and other bridesmaids were promptly taken back to the spa area. The technicians that did our nails took the time to make sure we all got the same polish on our nails and helped the bride pick out a color that would coordinate with ours too. After being pampered with a pedicure and manicure, we moved on to the eyebrow design, I'll admit I'd never before had this done before and wasn't entirely sure what to expect. The process wasn't my favorite but the technician did everything she could to make me comfortable and it was over with quickly.Once we'd had our nails and eyebrows done, we moved on to the hair stylist. My friend wanted us all to have our hair done the way we wanted it. I wanted something simple but stylish and asked the hair stylist to use her imagination, giving her free reign over my hair. The stylist was friendly and asked me lots of questions about my friends upcoming nuptials. I got so invested in our conversation that before I even knew it my hair was done. When she showed me my hair I was speechless. She'd pulled it all back, only leaving a few wisps in front of my face. The rest was tucked up neatly behind my head with a braid weaved into the sides. This hairdo was definitely something I would have never been able to do on my own.Overall, the whole spa experience was fun, the price was a little steep, but that is part of the price you pay with being a bridesmaid. My friends and I had a blast and we stayed on schedule for our wedding day activities.

Swami Mukundananda is a highly renowned spiritual teacher, who has dedicated his life for the service God and helping people with their spiritual quest. Swamiji is one of the senior disciples of Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj, the fifth authentic Jagadguru of this age.

An Engineer from IIT and an MBA from IIM, Swami Mukundananda embarked on his spiritual mission soon after his studies. Well versed with the Vedas, Shastras, Puranas, Upanishads, Bhagavad Geeta, Ramayan and The Bhagwatam, Swamiji has practiced and taught the Philosophy of Divine Love as elucidated by his Guru, Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj for over 22 years in many countries and extensively in India.

Swami Mukundananda is the founder of the acclaimed system of Yog known as, "Jagadguru Kripaluji Yog". Under his guidance, a unique educational program for youngsters called "Bal-Mukund" is also organised in many spiritual centers.

For the last quarter of a century, Shree Swamiji has been traveling far and wide, awakening hundreds of thousands of seekers. Carrying the flame of devotion in his heart, Swami Mukundandanda helps people embrace the path of devotion to God and gain true happiness.

Hearing the profound secrets of the Vedas from him is a rare privilege, for he is able to explain the ancient esoteric knowledge with rigourous scientific logic, in the modern context.

Using perfect logic, and a simple approach, Swamiji offers new ways of understanding and applying the knowledge of the scriptures in our daily lives. The hallmark of his lectures is the ease with which he dispels various myths and misnomers associated with the various paths of God-realization.

The discourses offered by Swamiji are specially designed for those people who have unanswered questions about spirituality, and are looking for satisfactory answers. Some of the questions addressed in his lectures are:

  • What is the goal of life?
  • We are all searching for happiness, yet we remain discontented. Why?
  • What is the nature of God? Why is He beyond our intellect, mind and senses?
  • What is the Grace of God? How is it attained?
  • What is sharanagati or surrender to God?
  • Why do we experience lust, anger, greed, envy, illusion etc.? How can they be conquered?
  • The Vedas mention three paths to God-realization: karm, gyan and bhakti. What is the difference between them? Who is qualified for which path?
  • Do all paths of karm, gyan and bhakti lead to the same goal or different goals?
  • Is it possible to attain God even while staying in household life? What is the karm yog of the Bhagavad Gita?
  • What is Divine love and how is it different from worldly love?
  • How can one establish a personal relationship with God?
  • What is the basis for choosing one's worshipped form of God?
  • What do the scriptures say about the need for a Spiritual Master? How do we recognize a genuine Guru?
  • What is meditation? How and when should Sadhana (devotional practice) be done ?

Singing and chanting the glories of the Lord is one of the main highlights of the programs conducted by Swamiji. He chants the sweetest bhajans that inspire devotional love, and elevate the consciousness to subliminal heights.

Shree Swamiji's has a God-gifted ability to keep all kinds of audiences enthralled and entertained through wisdom filled anecdotes, humorous stories and irrefutable logic. He has inspired innumerable people, of all ages, towards the path of God Realization, the world over. Swamiji's warmth and humility touch all those who have the fortune to have his association. In fact, his very presence radiates Grace and Bliss.
