they're just the same as darkus,subtera,aquos,pyres,ventes,&haos bakugans.so really there is no difference.

they give attributes or g-power. for example, subterra baliton is only used with subterra bakugan and used in the middle of a battle(no rolling required) and you can only use 1. baliton gives darkus and haos, so your bakugan will be subterra darkus and haos, and also get boosts fromm allthree from the gate card

Leonidas is the bakugan attribute that you pick at the beginning of the game. When He evolves he keeps the same attribute just like all of the other bakugan do. If you want him to be awesome pick either Haos or Darkus for his attribute.
