The source of the Po River is a spring in the Cottian Alps.

It rises in the Cottian Alps and flows into the Adriatic near Venice

(el. 2081 m / 6827 ft) in Savoy in France which forms the limit between the Cottian and Graian Alps.

It has its origin Cottian Alps, Italy and mouth at the Adriatic Sea with basin countries of Italy and Switzerland.

Montgenèvre is located in the French Cottian Alps on the Franch-Italian border at the top of the Col de Montgenèvre, in southeastern France. It is a popular ski resort.

The Po River starts in the Alps, and ends in the Adriatic Sea.

The Po River Valley is a major geographic feature that can be found in modern Italy. The valley stretches 400 miles from the east to the west and covers an area of over 17,000 square miles. The Po river flows through the valley and is fed by several other rivers that join it coming down from the surrounding mountains.
