Adenoviruses and adeno-associated viruses (AAVs) are commonly used in gene therapy for Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD). These viruses are used as vectors to deliver the therapeutic gene to muscle cells to replace the mutated gene responsible for DMD. Additionally, lentiviruses have been investigated as potential vectors for gene therapy in DMD.

Check local codes or call your local building department and hope that the local authorities were honest enough to have prevented these devices from being installed and said no to putting peoples health at risk.
AAVs have been approved in all 50 states; although it is necessary to check with your local building department to be sure. When using an AAV make sure there is access to the mechanical vent upon completion of your project.
