McDonald's does offer coupons for meals. However, usually the coupon specifies which menu item it can be used for.
I don't believe McDonalds was around in the 30's.

All items at McDonalds are on their nutrition menu. Some McDonalds locations have this nutrition menu on the wall. Most items have the nutrition information on the wrapper, as well. There are also smaller nutrition menus available in store that you can hold onto.
The little black triangle to the right of a menu item indicates that there is a sub-menu of items for that menu item; if you hover over the menu item or click on it the sub-menu should pop-out to the side of the menu.
