"No the W hotel was not in operation during World War II. The first W hotel to open was in New York and did not open until 1998, several decades after the end of World War II."
I = W/E, 18500/400 = amps

A table lamp with a 60 w bulb uses ¼ amp on a European 240 v system, or ½ amp on an American 120 v system.
An internal Zip will use about the same as a floppy drive. An Iomega external Zip uses a 5 Volt, 1 Amp supply. So 5 watts max.A USB zip is rated at 5V and 0.5 amp. V x A = W so, that would eat 2.5 Watts.That is during disk access and while ejecting and setting the disk. you could expect it to use almost nothing while idle.
Not really. The 6.3 amp fuse will allow about 50% more current through the circuit than the 4 amp fuse. The extra drain may damage things.

The W designation indicated four wheel drive (as opposed to the two wheel drive D series). To the best of my knowledge, the W150 designation was assigned with the first generation of Dodge Ram pickups (1981 - 1983), and the W100 name (which was in existence before the Dodge Ram line was introduced) was revived to indicate what was basically a D/W 150 with different trim options.
