A typical DM or AC, (Area Coach) in the QSR industry earns about 57.5K-74K, not to include bonuses of roughly 9-14% depending upon performance. (This answer is being provided by a current AC within the fast food industry) There's way more to this industry than minimum wage jobs, work hard, and you'll climb the ladder. I'm 31 by the way, and I plan on sticking with this, I love it.

I've worked at my local Taco Bell for a year now and there aren't really many benefits. I know my restaurant gives us free food and a half hour break on every shift but every restaurant is different. I started at $8 an hour and I was 17 so it's above minimum wage but certainly not a whole bunch of money.
