Humus is dirt. You may have meant "hummus", which is ground chickpeas with olive oil and tahini.

Dogs don't usually eat dirt. They could probably eat a small quantity of hummus, though it's not especially suited to their nutritional needs so it's probably not appropriate for them to eat a lot of it.
