Some species of snake grow VERY big. (Burmese Pythons grow to 18 feet or 5.5metres AND are very heavy when adult size !) Some need high humidity. (difficult to maintain) Some need 'specialist' food items (like large rabbits etc) Certain species are known to be aggressive.
Taking on a reptile can be GREAT fun - but - can also be hard work.
Snakes are amazing pets!
First of all, snakes are perfect for those who are not financially able to maintain a pet who needs a lot of money invested, such as a dog. A snake only eats once a week because their digestive system is slow; my snake eats two mice a week which is $5. The cage cost around $70, and the sand bedding I buy cost around $5 as well, which I buy once a month.
Second of all, snakes don't need to be walked around the block, like a dog, therefore you're not constantly barked at or meowed at to be let out so your pet can go out and venture, although sometimes snakes may poke their head against the top of the cage because they want to get out. Whenever I let my Ball Python out, he crawls all around the computer desk, the floor, the couch, and he loves being in dark places.
Third, although it is good to keep your snake clean, they don't need a daily bath. They may go into a provided pool of water to keep cool on a hot summer.
Fourth, you can learn soooooooo much from a pet snake! The way they act, the way they eat, and how sometimes it seems like they're yawning, but they are just readjusting their jaws.
I've had my snake for around two years and I have learned a lot about taking care of him, and although I've had MANY pets (hamsters, rabbits, cats, dogs, turtles, fish, birds..) snakes have suited me best.
A typical 'pet' species from Africa would be the African House snake.
If you returned a pet corn snake to it's natural habitat - yes - it would survive.
Hibernation?

It would be found in the animal kingdom
Keeping a snake for a pet is a way for one to learn more about them as a species, and also learn that there is a lot of care involved with keeping a snake as a pet. Snakes have special needs that are different from more traditional pets.
Yes i believe he douse a have a pet snake. Or had i am not shure.
The snake is not offered as an animal, but players can buy a snake as a pet, for 400 gems. This pet can then be used for the "Ssssnake" pet game.
you can not rent a snake if you wanted it as a pet you would have to buy it & if you wanted to rent a snake for a party you would have to get in contact with a wildlife company near you .
Only in an area where they would occur naturally !
Get other opinions to be sure, but I think a ringneck snake would be a good pet snake for children. They are not aggressive and feed on insects.
yes so be extremely careful around your pet snake
