geckos do need to be in heat when they shed.
Geckos shed old skin because it get old and dry and so they can grow bigger, we shed our skin to it takes a whole year to shed the whole of it but we do shed too :)
Yes! Of course.
Hey eat it while they shed. Its good nutrition for them.
yes, panther geckos do shed. (also called pictus geckos, big head geckos, Madagascar ground geckos, etc.) If you own a panther gecko, make sure it has rough surfaces such as bark and rock in their enclosure, to help get their skin off during shedding, and a moist hide box
Cretsed Geckos will shed their skin about two or three times a year. Sometimes, the gecko will eat its skin!
gkos need a heat lamp water food worms of crickets and a cage an some big rocks
yes they do, these are some of the geckos adaptations:they grow their tails backwhen they shed their skin they eat it!they are very fast runners!
yes they do, more when they are younger and less often wen they are adults
very it makes them feel uncomfortable
The younger the gecko, the more often it sheds, but adult geckos will normally shed about once a month. my gecko is a baby and it is shedding again sense 2 weeks and the babies shed more which is a good thing because its growing, but the adults dont shed much because they cant grow anymore.
yes. geckos shed their skin a couple times a month and eat it. they need to have a hide with either moss (pet store) or a simple paper towel ( i use ) and mist it a couple times a day with warm water. this will help them shed! side note - let your gecko shed its own skin. if it looks like it is having trouble start it for him and then at the end sometimes geckos need help sometimes getting it off their toes. what i do is - soak the geckos foot (feet) in water for a minute then gently remove the dead skin by rubbing it off. if it doesnt come off easy then soak the foot (feet) for longer.
