It depends on what type or species of snake you are talking about. The green mamba and the boomslang are venomous snakes of Africa with deadly bites that could if untreated kill a human being. But if you are speaking of the common rough green snake then no it cannot kill you.
No. They are illegal to be kept in US.
yes, those cute little green garden snakes are harmless and are for sure not agressive. :)
That will never happen rats are more scared of us than we think.
Mostly, snakes are "friends," if you are referring to humans. There are many venomous snakes, and they have caused human deaths. However, ecologically, theyhelp us by reducing the number of vermin (such as mice, rats, etc.) and in that way they help people. A bull snake, for example, may live near a barn, and prevent mice from ruining the hay. Most snakes are not venomous; and among those that are, they generally will not bite a human unless threatened or provoked. Some snakes will bite just to protect themselves and their eggs.
nothing would happen but enviroment people would be happier!
You are the first person in this world to do that. So tell us please.
it could kill us all
The anti-venom for many poisonous snakes, as well as a few other medically valuable substances, are made from the venom of poisonous snakes. Also, if someone has to handle poisonous snakes regularly, if they are milked on a set schedule, it reduces the danger of a bite from one of the snakes - the venom injected would be a tiny amount of normal.
The least popular animal in the US and perhaps in the world is a snake. Although snakes are often kept as pets, more people are afraid a of snakes than any other animal. Snakes can startle you and are cold and perceived to be slimy. Additionally, all snakes can bite, and some are extremely poisonous. Snakes have their admirers, but by and large most people would rather avoid them.
Snakes help us by eating rodents and other pests.
