The crocodile/alligator
The largest most common size a crocodile can reach is 23FT, namely the saltwater crocodile. However, there have been records of a saltwater crocodile that was over 28.2 FT! The largest most common size an alligator can reach is 19FT. On the contrary, because of hunting and poaching, the largest average size for saltwater crocodiles is almost 16 feet. The 23 footer is true, but is so rare that it is estemated that only 3-5 crocs of this size exist. The 28 footer may have been real and is very possible.
