Mature resin glands are commonly seen on the bud formation of the plant and are known to change in color from clear, foggy and then an amber and darker as time goes on. On a further glance this might look like a frosty mist with something that looks like "hair". Remember, all fruit off of any plant or tree has its best age on when to be used, this is usually the half way mark between start to full maturity, which can always be harsh.
