a bear normal makes it self look big and the preditor get scared and runs away it stands on its hind legs
Animals that walk on two legs are called bipedal animals. The most obvious example of this is the human species.
It runs but if caught it can use it's front and hind legs to scratch its predator.
Cats do not have shins. Their hind legs are elongated with a single bone, the femur, which runs from the hip to the knee joint. The lower part of their hind legs consists of bones like the tibia and fibula, but no shins as in humans.
When a horse runs on the left lead (the left front leg reaches farther than the right leg) the hooves land in this order: Right hind, left hind, right front, left front, repeat. When on the right lead, the hooves land in this order: Left hind, right hind, left front, right front. There is also a short period where the horse is completely airborne after the last front leg hits the ground. Then it starts over.

What can run but has no legs - hmm...... a CAR!
The flank area on a horse begins just above the 'stifle' joint (which is located on the upper hind leg and towards the front) and extends upward toward the backbone. It is easily recognizable because the hair growth there runs in the opposite direction from the rest of the horse's coat, and is also near the area where a horse's reproductive organs (mare's udder or stallion's sheath and scrotum) are located. See the related link below for a labelled diagram on the parts of a horse.
