A Camel
In Syria children's gifts come from the youngest camel on January 6th, which is Three Kings Day. In Spanish speaking countries such as Mexico, Puerto Rico, Argentina , Brazil, the Philippines and Spain, the Three Kings, themselves, give the gifts to the children.
In Syria, children leave hay and water out for the young camel that brings gifts. Thie is not done on Christmas, but on New Years Eve.
No animal delivers Christmas presents because Syria is a Muslim nation and not Christian. The only country in the world who has everyone celebrate Christmas despite their religion is the United States. There are many religions in the United States that are ignored during Christmas.

In Syria, gifts are traditionally delivered to children by a figure known as "Aj-Jidar" or Father Christmas. This figure is similar to Santa Claus in Western culture and is believed to reward children who have been good throughout the year with presents during the Christmas season.

Syria has a total Christian population of only about 10%, so Christmas is not neary the countrywide celebration that it is in the US. For those families who do choose to celebrate it, gift-giving would be a family affair (much like in the US), and the parents would get gifts for the children and/or each other.
Muslims don't celebrate Christmas
