No. It is toxic for your snake.
A dead snake.
There is no such thing as a "California Corn Snake". There are California Kingsnakes, and Corn Snakes. A snake that is trembling can be caused by many different things, and you should probably have a vet look at it. One possibility is neurological issues, which can be caused by keeping your snake on Cedar shavings for bedding. Snakes don't do well with Cedar.
A beginner snake owner should consider getting a ball python or a corn snake. Both species are docile, relatively easy to care for, and come in a variety of colors and patterns. They also have manageable sizes and do not have complex habitat requirements.
King Snake.
It depends how old it is ! An adult should feed every 10-14 days.
If you mean for decoration and to make the snake more comfortable things like logs, tree branches, rocks, aspen bedding, fake foliage are great
There's really no need - just provide something with rough surfaces (like large pieces of bark, or large rough stones) so the snake has something to help it break the skin. Also - a couple of warm, 5-minute baths while your snake is going thought the shedding process helps to loosen the skin.
This depends on the snake and their habits. If they use the bathroom in the water then you want it as soon as you can. If your snakes water is clean and looking good I would recommend changing every week.
