Prices of geckos can vary depending on a few factors:

1: the species of gecko - geckos can come in many sizes, colors, patterns and shapes. Generally, animals with a longer reproductive cycle and animals that take longer to mature are more expensive.

2: certain geckos come in different morphs, these higher end, sought after geckos are generally more pricey.

3: Size and age, Most breeders who spend a bulk of time caring for an animal and raising it will charge more because the buyer will not have to wait to breed.

4:Captive bred or wild caught, animals that have been brought across sea and that are from the wild have chances of carrying parasites and disease. These animals are generally much less money than an animal that has been hand raised and is guaranteed in good health.

around 40 dollars

Depends what type or phase- a rare gecko, or one in a rare phase (such as albino) can be up to £3000! I bought my regular leopard gecko for £35 from a reptile store.

Baby leopard geckos will cost less-mine was very young when I bought it.
