As long as they have just had a large meal, and slow their metabolic rate, then yes.
they can go pretty long without food but not to long without water
The old rule on it this is: A person can go up to four weeks without food. As much as four days without water. No more than four minutes without air.
The lungs are never truly 'empty'. Even if you exhale as hard and as long as you can there will still be some air in them. Unless of course your lung collapses, but you will not live for very long in such case.
The length of time a snake can go without food or water is dependent on the breed of snake, the living conditions, as well as the age of the snake. Younger snakes, who need to be fed more often, will starve quicker than an older adult. And snakes do not usually eat as often during the winter months and some can go for several months without any ill effects. Some even up to a year! The water is the most pressing issue here. Reptiles in general can last a several weeks (2-3) but it depends on the temperature and humidity of the said environment. The best idea here is NOT discover how long they last without food or water rather how long they will LIVE when provided with food and water.
When you let go of a balloon the air that is inside of it makes it fly up.It is impossible for it to go up to space. If its without helium then it takes about 6 days.

It is good for a baby to eat every week and sub adults to adults to eat every two weeks some adults will only eat once a month, snakes can live a long time without food my dAd found one that had escaped six months later still alive. Though that doesn't mean you should risk it, I would never let your snakes go more than a month without eating to keep them healthy
They can go 50 minutes because they have a big body full of lots of air which makes them last long but babys can only go 10 minutes and a kid can go 25 and a adult can go 40 minutes.
