The final enclosure for your Iguana should be somewhere between two to three times the length of your Iguana. Some apartments and houses can't accomodate this type of enclosure so many times people give their Iguana an entire closet or bedroom. If your Iguana is going to be housed in an enclosure, it should be minimum 5-6 feet tall.
For an Iguana you need a pretty large cage, because they are large animals. A 50 gallon tank may work for the first year and a half but after that you will need to upgrade an Iguana will keep growing in a cage until it cannot move, therefore it is very cruek to keep it in a tank. Recently, my Iguana Rex, had grown to big for her cage , she could still move, but it was to the point she needed a new one. My family and I built a 2 foot wide, four fool long 6 foot tall cage. It is made out of wood.

hello, i have been a lovebird breeder and owner for the past 3years, their cages need to be cleaned about every two weeks or sooner. Lovebirds tend to make messes and their cages will start to stink if not cleaned alot. Also, it may depend on how big their cage is, and if it is indoors or outdoors.
you need two cages i speak from breeding myself
