Depends on how you think "special" is. I think snails are special because....aren't they amazing? Can you imagine that it is an animal without a brain, but can eat, sleep, and drink fine just like a normal animal? Such simple creatures astound me as they mate, lay babies, and do stuff any smart animal should do without a brain! Their adaptation to have a shell is pretty smart too. So in my opinion, I think snails are a 'special' animal that is simple but amazing!
Apparently they are! Some can be very territorial and would "fight" each other for food, mates or a piece of land! If one snail broke into another snails territory they would kill each other! I just learned my interesting fact for today!
probably maybe that's what their antennas are for, for communicating and seeing.
No slugs can't get angry cause they don't have faces and can't smile or laugh also they don't have a mouth just slime 4 eyes and 1 nose.
