The primary religion of the Xia Dynasty in ancient China was a form of ancestor worship. They believed in honoring and revering their ancestors through rituals and offerings to ensure their well-being and protection. This practice played a significant role in shaping the religious beliefs and customs of the society during that time.
The Ilkhanate, Golden Horde, and the Chagatai Khanate - three of the four principal khanates (except for the Yuan dynasty) - embraced Islam, as the Mongol elite favored Islam to strengthen their rule over the Muslim majority populace.
Pharaoh Akhenaten demanded that his people practice a new monotheistic religion focused on the god Aten. He attempted to shift Egyptian religion away from the traditional polytheistic beliefs towards the worship of a single deity during his reign in the 14th century BC.
The Roman Emperor Julian, also known as Julian the Apostate, attempted to revive traditional Roman religion during his reign in the 4th century AD. He sought to shift away from Christianity, which had become the dominant religion in the Roman Empire, and reinstate the worship of the ancient Roman gods.
The Zhou Dynasty of China succeeded the Shang Dynasty and preceded the Qin Dynasty. It was founded by King Wu, the second son of King Wen of Zhou, following an attack on the Shang leaders in 1048 B.C. which, according to Chinese legends, culminated in a decisive victory in the Battle of Muye. Traditionally, 1122 B.C. marked the founding date of the Zhou dynasty, but more recent evidence suggests a date of 1046 B.C. For a historical account, see The Cambridge History of Ancient China (Cambridge: Cambridge University Press, 1999), 310-11.
Universalizing religions are belief systems that seek to appeal to all people regardless of their background. They often have a mission to convert non-believers and spread their teachings worldwide. Examples include Christianity, Islam, and Buddhism, which have followers across different cultures and geographical regions.

The Xia dynasty was started by Yu the Great.
King yu was the first King/Empoeror of the xia Dynasty
The Shang dynasty came after the Xia dynasty. The Xia dynasty was once thought to be a myth but then they found evidence to support that it really did exist.
According to some of the earliest records of the Shang, the first dynasty was the Xia dynasty. But some historians believe this dynasty is a myth. I think the Xia dynasty really was an existent dynasty however so I would say it is the earliest. It started at about 2000 B.C. and ended at about 1600 B.C.
The Xia dynasty lasted from ca. 2070 BC-ca. 1600 BC.

Hi Guys the First Chinese Dynasty was the Xia Dynasty. Yu the Great established this Dynasty in 1600 BC. When he got killed china was ruled by the shang Dynasty Changes from Deathmanf1re: The first dynasty was not Xia as some people say. Yan Huang Zi Sun was the first dynasty. The first guy was Huang Di then Yao then Sun and finally Yu. The reason why they started Xia dynasty is because before Xia, people were elected to be the leader but Yu was killed by his son and his son was the leader so people think that only the oldest son can be the emperor/leader.
This was called the Xia Dynasty.
