God will give a sure witness to all who will take His challenge, it is this. God instructed his prophet Joseph Smith to translate a book from ancient gold plates, this book is called the Book of Mormon. God's promise is (basically) that if a person will read the Book of Mormon, sincerely wanting to know if it is true, and then ask God in the name of Jesus Christ if the Book of Mormon is true...then God will answer that person by the power of the Holy Ghost and confirm to them that it is indeed true. And once a person has an answer from God (known as receiving personal revelation) they will know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and that the Church established through God (using Joseph Smith) is indeed God's Church...a person will also know that the teachings within the Book of Mormon are also true...since God revealed to them that the Book is true. It is indeed PROOF, ...BUT it comes to one person at a time (based on them exercising their faith first to test God's promise).
